chess study--a do or die position

white to move.  Which is correct:  A) Rc8, B) Rc7, or  C) Rc2?


In the game I was uncertain between Rc8 or Rc7.  I little felt that this move was mathematically the difference between a draw and a loss for white, with correct play.
