You who bear the physical fire may also bear the sacred fire of an ascension flame. And as you know the requirement of the Law, the candle that you bear must first be borne for the ascension of your own soul. Thus in bearing that candle the bearing of it in itself is your own acceding to the initiation and path of purity. The fire that you light is a signal to cosmic beings and hierarchies in far-off worlds that you have elected to carry purity, to expand your chalice, to strengthen your chalice, to carry more light and to take, come what may, each and every test that is the very next step on the path of your initiation.
Let souls within the community and in the larger body of Keepers of the Flame understand then that the dedication of the Friday evening services of the ascension will be that I myself will be in your midst together with the Goddess of Light and
Now, my beloved, I do summon you to Purity’s light. That each and every cell of your physical temple might increase as a cup of light is my prayer, that you might be tutored by me through the Mother of the many subtle forces of anti-purity that have sought to deprive you, some of you for more than a hundred thousand years, of the inner walk with purity.
One of the subtle arguments of those who bear the energy of anti-purity is that it is uncomfortable and unpleasant to be pure. But those of you who have pursued a path of self-purification know that the more light and the more purity you hold the greater your joy, the greater your freedom. And those who would hold you in ways of impurity are themselves bound by all types of human habit patterns, all types of addictions of the senses. And thus they are not free. Being jealous therefore of the freedom of the children of the light they have waged a mass advertising campaign and a penetration of their anti-purity philosophy into every corner of the Earth so as to enslave the children of the light and thereby in their enslavement, to steal from them the great light of purity….
And thus I desire that you should be educated in that which is the vibration of impurity in every avenue of life. And therefore guard the temple by the sealing of white light of purity and, preferring one another, unite your energies only with those initiates who themselves have sealed their life on the path of purity.
Beloved ones, there was once an ancient temple where I served with the Great Divine Director. It was a temple consecrated to the divine plan and the initiation of souls within that divine plan according to the light of purity. And we conceived that Mother purity, the flame which I bore would be the instrument of discipline and teaching and love and a vast and deep understanding of the path. And the Father light of the Great Divine Director would be the sealing within each initiate of the great blueprint—the master blueprint of a cosmos and of each individual microcosm within that macrocosm, each individual soul suspended in a universe that is God. That temple, not very far from here, was the place where we sustained the light. It was about a quarter of a million years ago.
I come then to awaken within quite a number of your band that you were there with us. And as we made the choice to enter in and to accelerate light you made the choice to go out into the world to seek your fortune, as they say, by other means and byways. And thus at the conclusion of the dispensation of that great temple which was even a physical temple of Lemuria we took our ascension. And you, my beloved, have taken another quarter of a million years to come to the place where life and all of the great configurations of heaven--the great ascended masters with their stellar bodies, their causal bodies--are once again in position to offer to you the path of initiation.
Now within your inner being you have been taken by us, in inner octaves of light, to behold the consequences of free choice. God does not condemn free choice. He is the author of free choice and the sponsor of souls, some who would tarry a little longer in time and space to discover the meaning of their own devices and their own solutions to various problems of being and of life.
And thus as a matter of cosmic history and to show you what has been a part of the evolution of the Earth, of which you have been a part for so long, I have brought this record to your outer attention. It is not with the idea of frightening you but only to give you a sense of co-measurement that you may understand that the soul’s various embodiments are to the soul as the twinkling of an eye.
These incarnations while they are experienced take on the frame of time and space. They are compartmentalized into the hours of the day and the seasons of the year, and they appear long and hard. But once they are over it is as though the spring of life, the coiled spring, contracts into almost a flat sphere. And that circle that is the collapsing of the experience becomes like a phonograph record. The entire recording of a life on a single disc, a compressed coil of energy, now is filed and now becomes a part of your history. You have many, many such discs. And these are kept on file so that you can review your own history and measure the marks that you have made as footprints in the Earth and as marks upon souls whom you have inspired to the path of the ascension. -Goddess of Purity: 1-14-1979 at Camelot, L.A., Pearls of Wisdom 54:13-14

Remember the ancient encounter. For I have been your brother on many occasion; and in each succeeding incarnation we have shared, our souls have moved together to pluck the star of the divine light and to pluck the harp of the heart of Maitreya….Thus to play our roles--I the Alpha, you the Omega--we crossed the bar, and you remain the faithful witness of our cause….
When it comes to the Omega action, when it comes to the individual becoming shakti of the Great White Brotherhood, when it comes to courage and the willingness to stand apart from the crowd, to go against the most cherished belief systems we find that those who are often most courageous are the fallen ones, for they have a momentum on rebellion and therefore they stand out….
Great is the cry of injustice, and very short and short-fused is the determination to act. Few have the sustaining power to act in exception to their neighbors for very long. Few can stand the ostracization that they receive. That is why we have community, for we are like minds who ought to be attracting more like minds, and may well do so.
Beloved, I underscore and bring to the fore of your attention now our order, the holy Order of Francis and Clare which has long been the underlying motive and purpose of many who serve here and throughout the field. I wish to inaugurate this order in this hour in a more organized way, that you might identify yourselves, whether on the celibate path or married, with the works that we strove to accomplish in the rebuilding of the Church on the cornerstone of purity while being servants to all life
I would speak to you of our motto which I would say today as obedience, as poverty, as chastity. May I speak upon these for a moment. For the obedience of our order is to the one we call Love--Christ. Obedience to love in the person of Christ in every Ascended Master and not Jesus alone. Obedience to the inner light and inner calling--the foundation of those who walk in commemoration of the World Teachers.
The Order of Francis and Clare takes its name from a quaint period in history which was fraught with the personal Armageddon and vicious forces every whit as nefarious as they are today. It also harks back to a limited understanding of Christ; yet, in the inner mysteries of our hearts we knew far more than we dared say.
The Order today goes beyond that which it was to a new birth in the Aquarian age. And as you receive the mantle and the perception of the Office you forge that Order and create out of it what must needs be. Thus, beloved hearts, chastity itself is purity. It is the purity of the chakras. It is the purity of heart. It is the path of the sacred heart. It is the purity of soul and purification of body. Above all it is the transmutation of all past karma. It is the dedication to the path of the ascension by the raising of that Kundalini-fire.
Poverty is the self-emptying that one might be filled. Every day give the light away that is yours to give. Thus know the true way of Mother Poverty. The emptying that one might be filled is the nature of the path. Poverty is a love that is greater for others than for oneself. To these three virtues I add a fourth: it is the defense of Mother Church….
May you then be striving ones. May you remember also that the fulfillment of the Order of Francis and Clare in the etheric octave is now through the Order of the Brothers and Sisters of the Golden Robe. It is the golden robe of the World Teachers and of Christhood, and it is the golden dawn of illumination to the Earth. Thus I bring the concept of the order in the hour of Jophiel’s coming when so much illumination is needed.
Blessed ones, fear not the path, for it does unfold as a golden robe before you. The love we have known, the inflaming by the Holy Spirit in our communions--all that we share--far supersedes any adversity or persecution or human consciousness you may encounter.
The equanimity and peace and joy of our hearts attend you in this hour. I desire then in the name of Maitreya to break the bread of life with you--to serve communion that you might understand that both the Teacher and Teaching is manifest in communion. It is the communion with Maitreya which demands assimilation….
the dispensation of my help to you in your personal health and psychology (is) to the end that you might know the joy of wholeness, be at peace to freely and swiftly eliminate the unreal portions of the self, to mount then the path of initiation that the flame of the heart might be balanced and shine to all nations as the dissemination of our light, leading all to the fruit of Maitreya and the necessary initiation which every disciple must have if he is to overcome the most difficult and complex problems of the subconscious or the electronic belt. For the accomplishment of this I recommend this Order of Francis and Clare which necessarily includes the path of the ministering servant already announced.
This Order is a means to an end and not an end in itself. It is not that we desire that you should become caught up in the sense of the Order but that you might use it as a means, a strength, a unity, a brotherhood and a sisterhood to work through the most difficult challenges and to be supported in the hour of weakness by your friends.
Thus, my beloved, it is not with great fanfare but with the transfer to you of an awareness that your allegiance to holy precepts and purposes, your consideration of vows, is strengthening and serves to take the light of the Kundalini to fashion the sacred arrow which will meet its mark in the infinite realms….
Understand our motive and tolerate our means, for we must act in the best way possible to reach you swiftly. Consider always the motive of the ascended masters in any adversity, any clash with a chela or family, any misunderstanding of our Teaching or the Messenger. Consider the motive and consider that the most important part of any experience you have is not what is flung your way but your reaction to it. Your reaction is the determination of your place on the ladder of attainment. Your reaction enables us to act or not to act. Your reaction to anything or everything shows us the fruit that has ripened in you from all of our prior teaching and loving and support as well as discipline.
Thus perceive the sine wave building towards events that produce a thrust which requires from you a response. Observe the response and you will observe the highest hopes and possibilities which now are given room to manifest. It is always well to pause and take a deep breath and to consider therefore before you speak and before you decide on a course of action….
And we wonder what wonder Maitreya may have before us when you shall have achieved a new level of community attainment. With the sign of the East and the hierarch of light, with the sign of the one who has sent me I am forever the little bird of Christ, the little bird of Buddha.
This is the light that descends in time; this is the time to ascend into light. As I carry the flame of the Cosmic Virgin for the twelve-month cycle in the heart of Virgo, Mother of Earth, I come to anchor a light from Venus, a beacon of love to impel mankind to look above to behold celestial visitors who come to quicken and to point the way, to whisper in each heart and say “The dawning of the year, the dawning of the millennium must come because hearts are one in love.”
Hierarchy shows forth the victory of love, and the Hierarchy of Venus salutes the Hierarchy of Earth. Some of you have considered, when others have said that the government pays the bill, that you are the government. Indeed you are Hierarchy. You are the heart’s light and fire of Sanat Kumara, of Gautama Buddha and Maitreya.
As the fire intensifies in your heart in response to the commitment of the Knight Commander I come forth to salute the God of Freedom for the Aquarian age. I lay at the feet of the Knight Commander roses that have grown in the etheric fields of Venus. Pink roses twenty-four in number I carry as token and pledge of the Four and Twenty Elders who have also risen in honor of that Master of Freedom.
