1) What is selfishness, beloved hearts? It is attachment to the person, to the ego, to its history, to its likes and dislikes. And therefore the answer lies in nonattachment, in desirelessness. Take your cloaks, your consciousness of the human, your two-eyed vision, take it from you this hour; put it aside. That is how you put aside selfishness. Do not act out of sympathy for your wants and the desires of the little self. Act out of compassion for the soul that yearns to breathe free; act out of compassion for the God within you. Set the God free; set the Christ free within you; release into the fire now all momentums of personal attachment.
2) Long ago in another system of worlds, in the evolution of the brothers and sisters of a particular planet I perceived the need for mercy, for the ark that provides the way of escape for evolving consciousness that arrives at the place of desire--God-desire--a desire so great for the Law and for true Being that it becomes a magnet to draw God into manifestation. And then the consciousness abides in the state of desirelessness. For the consciousness that has desired God realizes that it is God.
3) I come to proclaim the freedom of mankind. I come to proclaim the freedom of souls! But it is a freedom that must be invoked by desire on the one hand, by desirelessness on the other. The action of desiring to be Godlike must be balanced by desirelessness, wanting nothing of this world or of the next but only to be God.
The state of Being is not the state of desiring. For the state of being the fullness of God I AM is the Buddhic state--a state of comfort, completeness, wholeness. That is the state of Being.
But the state of desire is one of discontent. This also is a healthy state. For in order to obey the fiat to come up higher, you must be discontent with the planes where you have rested, with the morass of human life.
4) I say, you have not even begun to be aware of the glory of the path of initiation, as glory unto glory unfolds the wisdom of your own creative mind, which by and by becomes the vessel of the mind of the Buddha.
Do you know that in our retreat we prepare chelas for their entering into the retreat of Lord Gautama Buddha at Shamballa? Those who have made their way through the tiers of the Retreat of the Blue Lotus are received with honors in Shamballa. These initiates, sitting at the feet of this cosmic being, anticipate--with an inner desiring that is beyond what you can imagine—that moment when they are welcomed by Gautama Buddha.
Now then this is the law that is given by the master who is speaking: It is the Law of Sun Consciousness. It is the law of the fire infolding itself. The master illustrates how the fire infolding itself within the heart of the disciple draws from the Central Sun currents of Alpha so that the intensity of this fire infolding itself will draw a greater and greater momentum of the currents of Alpha by this--the desiring desirelessness--that must be balanced on the fulcrum of consciousness.
What is this desiring desirelessness? It is the desire to be God! And the desire to be God is itself a desirelessness.
The equilibrium of this state of mind requires energy within the heart that magnetizes the fire infolding itself at the same time that the energy is balanced in the aura for the going without. It is like the meditation of patting the head and rubbing the tummy. It is a meditation whereby you balance in consciousness through the cloven tongues of the Holy Spirit the centripetal and centrifugal action of the Godhead—desire, desirelessness; yin and yang; desiring to be, being desire, being desirelessness; not being, but being all one in God.
This is the initiation that I impart to you by special dispensation from the Lords of Karma. For you see, my way is the way of silence, and by that silence I force the chela to penetrate my mind and heart. By that thrust of energy the chela develops the desiring to be. And then on the return current of my love and wisdom, the chela experiences energy penetrating the heart and the mind from my world. In that experience there is the desirelessness of the Buddha….
Strive for oneness. Strive for wholeness. Seek the desiring of God and the desirelessness of God. Learn the balance of the twain. Come under the Law and the rod, and know that I am waiting in the Retreat of the Blue Lotus for you to come up higher and higher to the pinnacle of your own being. Know that the door of the retreat is open to those who are disciplined in the Law.
5) I give my life, my energy
For the fusion of humanity
With sacred fire, with mind of God,
With love compelling and wisdom telling
That the way, the Eightfold Path,
Is the means of cycling
To the center of the Sun of God consciousness.
And the way made plain
Neither for the proud nor for the profane
Is the way of selflessness,

6) The tenth perfection of the law is the balance between desire and desirelessness. It is the point of the fusion of the active and the passive. And through it the power of the three-times-three is multiplied by tens, by hundreds, by thousands, by millions, by billions and beyond. The perfection of indifference is the zeal that determines the quantity of energy entrusted to your care. The three-times-three will be the nine, the ninety, the nine hundred, the nine thousand, the nine million or the nine billion according to your ability to show indifference alike to mockery and to praise, to pleasure and to pain, to poverty or riches, adulation or indignation. This is the tenth perfection of the law–indifference to the gratitude or ingratitude of mortals, indifference to their cursings or the garlands of their approbation.
7) For I come in the reality of the full moon of the May cycle which is eternal creativity, and thus I discovered the path of selflessness to be the only worthy use of the supreme creativity of the cosmos; for any self-awareness outside of God is the shadow of the moon that will eclipse the light of the Sun. And so you see, the attainment of the Buddhic light through the path of nonattachment and desirelessness does bequeath upon twinflames the supreme opportunity for fulfillment in creative cycles. -Gautama Buddha: 4-23-1978 at NYC, Pearl 21:42

8) Let all who approach the path of the white light understand that the goal is the assimilation of the soul into the great God-Self. It is the integration of the Father-Mother principles of being as the true identity of self and of wholeness. It is the ascension of being from the matter universe you have known to a Spirit universe which you once knew. It is the goal of desirelessness come full circle to be the desire of God.
Let all who come this way–the way of the Great White Brotherhood outlined as the path of the Master-disciple relationship--know that all lesser goals will be dashed upon the rocks of their own human ambition upheld by their own human habit.
9) All rise higher, mounting this resurrection flame. All rise higher, coming to that place where--through homelessness and prayer and fasting, by exercise of the Word--there comes the hour when foul odor, as electronic-belt substance untransmuted, is passed through the violet flame. 10) Beloved ones, there is a faculty that is not highly developed but indeed can be. It is a faculty that must come through the Holy Spirit, it is a faculty that is in the sun center of the solar plexus. It is the power of the desire body when the desire body is purified, and desirelessness (as the Omega negative polarity) moves into the thrust of the positive polarity of Alpha and it becomes Alpha’s desiring to sire the Son of God within you--and it becomes the Omega within you, now receptive and now active, sending forth and amplifying the desire of God to be God where I AM, where you are, which you declare as I AM.
11) Blessed ones, take heed, for those who pass the tests of the right use of an increase in energy, in light, in consciousness, even in freedom from certain karma, do enter in and acquire O so much more than position among their peers. These, beloved, may receive then the initiations to have the gifts of the Holy Spirit. There is no greater power that could be desired and yet desirelessness itself is the key. 12) Know then, beloved, that for the tutoring of your hearts--the refining of your hearts for a greater victory and a greater empowerment--you must study the path and desire in all earnestness to correct the waywardness of the soul. For in many cases often unawares she has departed from principles that would propel her to higher octaves and the realms where bodhisattvas are becoming buddhas and preparing to embody should the golden age be realized and fulfilled in the Earth as anticipated.
13) Remove yourself from dallying in human consciousness, the wasting of time and space and energy. For these resources are all you have as a crucible for the alchemy of self-transformation and world transformation….You see, it is possible for you to neglect the health of the soul, vibrancy of the soul and discipline of the soul. And if you do, the soul will not know how to enter the spirals of self-transcendence. If you do not direct your soul to take steps that are indispensable to self-transcendence that must come ere you have your victory, surely, surely you will not have the wherewithal to bond with me….
I work with the violet flame. I work with the sacred fire, the white fire of the Divine Mother, which is sealed in the base-of-the-spine chakra. And I work with the comfort flame (a pink flame with fiery white center and golden aura) for your consolation as I teach you the path of love. I work with the fire of the Sun for your enlightenment through the crown chakra. And of course as the Mentor of the Seven Chohans I work with all of the rays for the alignment of your chakras. But, beloved, you need to rock the child of your soul in your arms….
There are wholesome and constructive ways of satisfying every desire that is right in the Mind of God. Therefore if you have desires that are pure and holy, constructive for humanity, I say go for them, pursue them because you must arrive at the gate of your transition from this to the next life without feeling that you have missed out on this or that.
It is sometimes easy and sometimes hard to sublimate even right desires, but when your heart is one-pointed in God things fall into place in the order of their importance. When you make known to God that you have a need to create something, to accomplish something, to rise to a certain level of self-mastery (and of course God knows your need before you ask), He will accord you the opportunity to fulfill these goals if they are based on pure desire. God allows you to fulfill your desires because when you do, you become desireless.
In other words by fulfilling rightful desire you neutralize the desire. In the case of wrong desire it is never satiated. Thus people repeatedly indulge wrong desire, and they become addicted to wrong desire.
Think then about which desires you can cast into the violet flame. Then think about other desires that are constructive in the work of the Great White Brotherhood and to civilization. Pursue those desires that are deep and lawful and that pertain to your mission, for in fulfilling them you may raise civilization and affect millions with positive good by your service. Contemplate this carefully and do not be deceived by wrong desire that does take you from the course of the plan the Lords of Karma outlined for you before you took embodiment. …
Value then that precious life-energy that flows over your crystal cord. Value that energy. It is your river of life. You can widen it, expand it, accelerate its flow by building reservoirs of light in the chakras. And when you shall have fulfilled God’s desire for you then as it is written, “out of thy belly shall flow rivers of living water.”
So know, beloved, that you and you alone are responsible for the decisions you make. Do not make them by happenstance. And do not let others deter you from centering yourself in that inner point of God-reality which by its intensity propels you to the fulfillment of your goal….
Life on earth is linear; life in heaven is spherical. You must visualize yourself having accomplished your ultimate goal and then focus on it now and then throughout the day until you fulfill it. By this, beloved, you will not miss the mark of your victory nor your opportunity to be a God-free being in any octave you choose to be in….
Seek me and find me in the flame of perpetual love and true sacrifice.
