World military games at Wuhan; connecting many dots

7-23-21   A fully formed sample of COVID-19 was ready for testing in early 2019, while a parallel vaccine program was underway.  Scientists from the Wuhan Institute of Virology were chosen to participate in non-human primate (monkeys) transmission testing, simulated coronavirus release and response exercises such as at Wuhan’s Tianhe airport in September 2019 and an actual test release of COVID-19 at the 2019 Military World Games from October 18–27, 2019.

The release of COVID-19 at the Military World Games was also a test of the longer term effects of that type of bioweapon because foreign visitors to the Games would carry it back to their own countries and the consequences could be observed.  The source explained that the subsequent outbreak in Wuhan was entirely unexpected. That is, there was no laboratory leak, but the unintended spread among the Chinese population of Wuhan of a virus for which they had underestimated its transmissibility.

5-6-20  the French Army who were responsible for organising their athletes at the military games (in Wuhan in latter Oct. 2019) reportedly confirmed that they had not wanted to test any athletes either.  https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/11565077/fears-coronavirus-europe-october-french-athletes-military-games-wuhan/

5-16-20   Among dozens of other competitors contacted by the MoS, some said they had been told not to comment.
Oliver Gorges, a triathlete from Luxembourg, said he became ill with flu-like symptoms and is now to undergo an antibody test this week to discover if he had contracted the coronavirus.  “It was a ghost town.  There were rumours that the government warned the inhabitants not to go out.”
Many other athletes at the Games commented on intense cleaning measures put in place in Wuhan, with almost 250,000 volunteers assisting the events.  Gorges, 22, had his temperature recorded on arrival at the airport, while athletes were forced to wash their hands every time they entered the canteen and were ordered not to take food out of the premises. "It was strange," he added.

"We all got sick, 6 out of 6 in the apartment and many also from other delegations.  So much so that the medical supplies had almost run out of medicine.  I had a fever and cough for 3 weeks" – added the
Italian swordsman according to the ANSA report – "and the antibiotics did nothing; then it fell to my son and my partner.  I’m not a doctor, but the symptoms seem to be those of covid-19."   https://www.gospanews.net/en/2020/05/07/wuhangate-6-too-many-influenzas-cases-at-military-games-in-china-suspects-on-covid-19-by-italian-and-french-athletes/

We have found a dozen with the use of the now burning SARS-HIV combination, also previously carried out:  in Beijing in 2004 and 2005, in New York in 2005, in Switzerland and Taiwan in 2006 ….
This is confirmed by the 2007 experiment carried out not only by the Wuhan Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences but also by the Cell Proliferation Laboratory of the Ministry of Education at the College of Human Sciences of the University of Beijing, by the East China Normal University of Shanghai, from the Australian food and farmer industries CSIRO Livestock together with the Australian Biosecurity Cooperative Research Center for Emerging Infectious Diseases in Geelong.
That experiment from the Hubei Province research center was also funded largely by the Chinese, through the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Academy of Sciences and National Nature Science Foundation of China for Creative Research, but also by the Oceania’s institution just mentioned and from one of the Old Continent …Even Brussels, in fact, has supported research on these chimeric superviruses called SARS-Like, potentially lethal. https://www.gospanews.net/en/2020/05/08/wuhangate-7-bio-weapons-un-dossier-pentagon-fauci-28-us-labs-secrets/

who not only demonstrated the validity of the thesis of his colleagues in India on the traces of HIV in SARS-Cov-2 but added surprising analytical details thanks to his great experience in the head of molecular genetics that allowed him to become director of the Department of Biological Engineering of the University of Pau (Beaume, Pyrénées-Atlantiques) and lecturer also for NATO:   "This virus could not have emerged spontaneously  by  natural mutations  and  wild strains  recombinations,  it is  a  genetic chimaera  with artificial insertions  of  modified  genes,  an engineered genome  of  a  coronavirus  within a capsid  of  a  Human Immunodeficiency Virus.”…

"The changes observed in its protein sequences (3 inserts coming from gp120 HIV and 1 insert from HIV gag) all increase the density of positive charges on the surface of these molecules.  Such a non-random change involves the use of a protein engineering software tool to screen the genetic modifications prior to doing them," the bio-engineer Bricage wrote on Covid-19 pandemic.

6-17-2013   The British government intercepted the emails and phone calls of foreign dignitaries attending the 2009 G20 meetings in London, according to the latest tranche of leaks released by the Guardian.

And yet, spying on your allies has long been a staple of international diplomacy -- dating back to the first embassies established by 16th century Italian city-states, where cryptanalysts would slice open the wax seals of intercepted, coded messages with hot knives before deciphering them.

Herbert Yardley proved the value of his code-breaking chops throughout World War I, and after the war the State Department officially set up a "Cipher Bureau."  (As if that name wasn't nefarious-sounding enough, it was also known as "The Black Chamber.")  It was America's first permanent code-cracking agency, and it was the precursor for today's National Security Agency.  Yardley became the head, setting up the offices on East 38th Street in New York, across the street from a department store.  He and his wife lived on one floor, and the bureau took up the rest of the building.       Yardley's success was short-lived, though.  The Cipher Bureau was shuttered in 1929, shortly after the arrival of Henry Stimson as the new Secretary of State.  Apparently, Stimson thought this type of surveillance was unethical, and he issued what is perhaps one of the best foreign policy statements ever:  "Gentlemen do not read each others' mail."

And yet, they continued to. Intercepting private messages picked up within Cipher Bureaus all over the world during World War II, and such spying became a staple of the Cold War, Kahn says.  (During the Depression Yardley wrote a book on breaking the Japanese code; the US government then passed a law making that illegal.  -r)   https://www.theatlantic.com/international/archive/2013/06/gentlemen-reading-each-others-mail-a-brief-history-of-diplomatic-spying/276940/

But at a deeper level Yardley vs. Stimson was more subtle and more long-lasting.  Yardley was an independent; Stimson was a member of Skull and Bones, a deeply covert operation centered at Yale U. of high-up insider power elite families.  -r.
