1) This ascension is an entering into the liberty of eternal life. Each embodiment, dear hearts, draws to a close in a few short years. Each day often proves to unascended mankind to be somewhat a treadmill existence—especially to those not attuned closely enough to their own God Presence I AM. Come closer to me, your Cosmic Mother, emulate me by holding high your standards! Let your torch shine before men that they may truly glorify God in you! Enter into the deeper meaning of liberty. Shun the mere license to do what you will based on compulsions of habit or imitation of human vanity. The violet fire of freedom’s love is blessed Saint Germain’s gift for two thousand years to assist in transmuting or changing all binding habits of earth into ascended master light substance--becoming thus requalified with the divine image stamped in the place where dwells the human impostor!
Our life is no idle play! It is victorious life!
2) Now it is an absolute truth that the will of God does not struggle with the will of man. On the contrary it is the will of man or the human ego which struggles with the will of God. For the will of God is a great sea of divine love and energy and illumination pouring forth at all times with the fullness and power of perfection. But the will of humans is a sea of seething emotions and confusions which beloved Saint Germain has declared unpredictable. And of a truth human nature is as irregular as an inkblot. But because we maintain the flame of hope of the Father for His children we sometimes think that we can predict future actions of some individuals. Nevertheless there are times that even we in our predictions find that we have erred--only in the sense that mankind suddenly and impetuously jump, as it were, out from beneath our thumbs (the thumb of our prediction and our hope for their God-success) and decide that they are going to do something entirely different from the very fulfillment of their divine plan and our anticipation for them. And so even Divinity itself cannot foreknow the unpredictable will of mortals since He Himself did not foreordain its license.
3) But you must never forget that manna for the soul is required for all upon earth. In the spiritual marts of commerce where the divine Word is dispensed I hope that individuals are aware of the fact that the glory of the eternal One is worth more than all of the glories of materialism for which so many have almost sold their souls.
I would also however like to point out to all of you who are assembled here that the hungry must be fed, that the homeless must be housed. And therefore in order to promote the cause of world peace, to insure the world against the inroads of Communism and false doctrines and teachings which are materialistic in concept (which can never bring freedom to the world), the people of Earth must learn to love one another enough to make it possible for individuals to be taught and practice the dignity which will help them to help themselves.
Freedom, beloved ones, is not license, it is freedom to do the will of God. And you all ought to bow your knees to the will of God and to acknowledge it as supreme above all other wills. As you surrender your precious wills, beloved ones, to the will of your own mighty I AM Presence there comes into manifestation the dominant aspect of the first ray within your lives--“Thine is the kingdom, Thine is the power and Thine is the glory.”
4) Freedom of the press was not intended to give license to the corrupters of youthful minds; neither was it intended to be used to confuse and disorganize the populace, flooding their brains with jingoistic propaganda and prejudicial discriminations. Rather the power of light was intended to emanate from a free press and exalt everyone into a rightful sense of cosmic destiny.
5) In the holy name of God I declare to you today that international integrity and freedom of conscience are necessary. 7) We then seek to create in you the means of dispelling illusion so that the divine flame pulsating within you will burn the veils of discordant energy, of negative thoughts, of false concepts of separation of self. Thus you will see divine reality blazing through you which is the passport for mankind to know their own freedom. Freedom is the freedom to enter into the real and into the heart of the real. Freedom is not license to manifest the whimsy of human will. 8) Beloved ones, fear hath torment whereas love is the fulfilling of the Law. And the Law is tempered to mankind by the quality of mercy that is never strained except by human consciousness itself which refuses even to drink the draught of divine mercy or else when it has taken that mercy it uses as license to continue in the old ways. Nevertheless if it were not for the presence of the quality of mercy on Earth the very bones of mankind would crack by the weight of the oppressing karma of his own creation.
9) In matters of mind and spirit with all of man’s getting he has failed to achieve even a basic understanding of the rudiments of cosmic law. The youth of today untrained in the home and untutored in the schools in simple elements of courtesy are sorely lacking in grace and in the virtues of the Holy Spirit. Man’s tendency to exalt freedom as license rather than freedom as responsibility has paved the way for the competitive ego and brought about an increase of violence.
With the advent of new scientific miracles which were intended to provide a very marvelous life for mankind relatively free from drudgery so that he might pursue the things of the Spirit, the world has been caught instead in a net of delusory violence and ceaseless class struggle.
10) I plead then at a time of the year when people are concentrating on the gift of freedom that you strive to understand it, that you embrace its higher manifestation with an ecstasy of the Spirit, loving God for the freedom that He is. His freedom is not license to do whatever you will. His freedom is the boundless bounty of adoration to a central principle whose core and exterior are both composed of the very essence of truth.
Because nations are made up of peoples and because thus far only the few have directed the many, I urge the many to pause and to reflect upon their own blessed potential. Yes, you have freewill, blessed ones; for that which men use from day to day they call freewill. But the night of the human will is far spent; and the shroud which the misuse of freewill has created has darkened many hearts, bringing seemingly endless pain and making them to cry out “O Lord, how long?”
The time is overripe now—if world calamity is to be avoided—for humanity to understand that their pleasures of eating, drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, of seeking the love and friendship of the world must be placed in their proper perspective. -Goddess of Liberty: Pearl 13:25

11) We have long encouraged men to exercise their freedom of conscience not as mere license to create whatever fancies the mind but to create the select gifts of the soul striving in living purpose to endow life with the graces of the Almighty. Through the centuries we have observed the results of man’s wrong sowings. Where the sense of ugliness is amplified it offers a divergence of difference, but it can never insure the oneness of the effulgent life.
12) Some have said that man is his own worst enemy, and rightly so, for by misusing his creative opportunity he aborts his own creative fulfillment. Some have dwelled in the negative aspects of freedom, taking license to chase the phantoms of their own imaginations. 13) The development of an internal sense of fairness, justice and honor is essential if the chela is to progress upon the path.
