May 4, 2020 Huang Yan Ling, a researcher at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the South China Morning Post reported rumours swirling on Chinese social media that she was the first to be diagnosed with the disease and was “patient zero”.... her biography and image deleted from the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s website.
