Julio Rayos, a neighbor who lives a few homes away and knew the man was deaf, said he saw the confrontation unfold and sensed trouble.  He said that he ran toward the officer with his wife and his 12-year-old daughter, all three of them screaming that the man could not understand the officer.  “Don’t kill him, he’s deaf,” his daughter yelled.  “Don’t do it!”
About six other neighbors joined in, frantically trying to get the officer’s attention.  But less than a minute after the episode began, a second officer arrived and immediately pulled out his handgun, Mr. Rayos said.  While people continued to scream, the first officer fired his Taser at Mr. Sanchez, while the second fired his handgun, the police said.    http://www.slate.com/blogs/the_slatest/2017/09/21/deaf_oklahoma_city_man_madgiel_sanchez_shot_and_killed_by_police.html

(CNN) A police lieutenant in Georgia caught on dashcam telling a woman in a traffic stop that "we only kill black people" plans to retire.
Cobb County police Lt. Greg Abbott stood to lose his job for the remarks. But Cobb County Public Safety Director Samuel Heaton said Friday the department had received an e-mail from Abbott requesting immediate retirement.   http://www.cnn.com/2017/08/31/us/georgia-cobb-county-officer-racial-comment-trnd/index.html

Build men up in Christ consciousness and they will not be touched by the minions of darkness….For I believe that childlike innocence can be preserved in any age, and I believe that it is the best fortification that any man or woman can have.  Childlike innocence may sometimes suffer as a result of the depredations of the hypocrites of the world and the deceitful of the world, but it will always have eyes for God, it will always find a welcome from His heart.
