 Ohio with its 18 electoral votes Trump won by 8%.  Clinton took Illinois' 20 electoral votes by 16%.  Overall the Midwest gave Trump the mandate; in return steel and aluminum tariffs on foreigners will help the Midwest rebuild, hopefully,  after decades of severe globalization exported their jobs and industrial strength.      -r
