351.  Malice, doubt, unbelief, impatience, laziness and other inspirations of darkness separate the earthly world from higher spheres.  Instead of following the path of good, people attempt to replace ecstasy of spirit with various narcotics which give the illusion of other-world existence.  Observe that in many religions there were introduced, as later adjuncts, very clever compounds of narcotics for the purpose of artificially advancing the consciousness beyond the earthly state.  Indeed the infallibility of such forcible measures is great—they not only do not bring the finer realms closer, they on the contrary estrange and coarsen the consciousness.  Likewise earthly life is filled with continuous poisonings with which people very affably regale each other.  Teachers of all times have taught humanity the pure paths of Spirit that lead into communion with higher worlds, but only a few have chosen the path revealed by the heart.  A special attention must be given to deliverance from poisonings.  A considerable part of the Earth's soil is already infected as is its surface.  Besides narcotics, people have invented many obviously frightful substances which instead of being health-giving bring on spiritual death….People formerly at times fell into error for the sake of illusionary ecstasy, but nowadays they are completely unashamed to kill the intellect and spirit of their near ones, calling this killing an attainment of science.

  In order for a civilization to sustain itself–yea, to transcend itself–it must be able to transmit its ideals and principles to the next generation.  We have seen how far America has strayed from our Founding Fathers’ blueprint for religious freedom.  A primary reason her freedoms are being eroded one by one is that her people have lost their spine, their backbone, and their fervor for the spirit of Liberty.   Why?

   In this century we have seen a five-pronged attack on our youth which has blunted the ability of generations to defend freedom. This attack, supported by the media and the educational system, comes through drugs, alcohol, nicotine, sugar and rock music.  If current trends continue, the next generation may not even be capable of bearing the flame of freedom in America.  God forbid!

  Monopoly and corruption are cause and effect. Together they work in Congress, in our commonwealths, in our municipalities.  It is always so, it always has been so:  privilege gives birth to corruption just as the poisonous sewer breeds disease.  Equal chance, a fair field and no favors, the “square deal” are never corrupt….

  Lincoln once said “If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher.  As a nation of freemen we must live through all time or die by suicide.”…

  Civilizations do fall for lack of leadership, and the real cause of their collapse is always self-destruction….Toynbee* also concluded that as a civilization evolves, more of its challenges are internal rather than external.  “The criterion of growth,” Toynbee says, “is progress towards self-determination.”   Growth is dependent upon creativity/ingenuity, the ability to put down those forces that assail one’s highest calling–“perpetual flexibility and spontaneity” as Toynbee defines it.…

  America has come to the wye (fork in the road):  to choose to embrace the living Christ for the glorification of the (universal/individual) God-Self and the giving of the light unto others for Self-determination or to choose not to be and to take what light one has for the glorification of the not-Self, thus entering the lefthand path of the enslavement of souls to Antichrist under the tyranny of fallen angels.  When the power elite rose up in America it was for the glorification of their identity as a proud race of fallen ones. This was to be accomplished through the taking of the light, that is, the money, i.e. the value of the sacred labor of the people….The shift was from one nation under God to a plurality of monopolies under the Luciferian hierarchy of the East Coast Establishment.  We had been taken and taken over by the Watchers and the agenda of their false hierarchy….

  Toynbee observed that when the creative minority lose their creativity and become oppressive–when they let the threefold flame (of life within the heart) go out and the divine spark–they degenerate into a dominant minority which rules by force.  Thus those who in heaven were the guardian spirits of our grace fell into disgrace when they descended to earth to lust after the daughters of men.  This creative minority became the oppressors of the sons of God in the earth.  And the lightbearers are displaced by the fallen ones who come in their cunning with their serpent schemes and their plots of takeover--and they are well-organized plots.      -Elizabeth Clare Prophet:  Pearls of Wisdom 31:9              *Arnold J.   The admonishment “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven^“ is both blessing and reproof--a blessing to those who follow it and a reproof to those who do it not….The removal of tension from one’s consciousness is the first step toward wholesome integration with the divine Presence….

  There is such a thing as righteous anger, but this involves principle not person.  When principles are violated because of the misleading activities of the dark spirits one’s feeling of anger--like unto that of the Master Jesus when he drove the moneychangers out of the temple--should be against the spirits that defraud men of the wholeness of their seamless garment of light and not against the innocent victims of the plight.

  Man’s delight in the inward laws of his own being will increase in majesty and in power through his realization that the gift of dominion lies within his own hand.  There are many who wait for external conditions to shape their lives, and we acknowledge that to a great extent outer circumstances do control the lives of men. But men must recognize that the inward affinities of the soul and the accumulations of good and bad karma are the actual promoters of their destiny....
