In reality man can make a secret covenant

The financial moguls of the late 19th and early 20th centuries made a conscious effort to seize the power of the country's institutions as a means of enriching themselves.  They recognized that they could not gain great wealth any other way, they also realized that they had to neutralize or circumvent the constitutional and legal barriers to their activities....F. C. Howe in his Confessions of a Monopolist, 1906 recognized that there was a profound difference between free market capitalism and the capitalism he and his fellow capitalists practiced.  He wrote:  "This is the story of something for nothing--of making the other fellow pay."

The happiness that one feels when the flow of one’s energy is toward  straightforward purpose is an expression of universal harmony....Attitude is all-important, for it is like a screen through which the ingredients of life are pressed....
The great doer is always the Eternal One who employs the hands and feet of humanity as well as their consciousness, their mind and their will but never without the consent of the individual.  It is His intent to turn over to the individual--just as soon as he has demonstrated his capacity and worth to receive it—the full employment of his God-given talents.  The correct use of these talents is always under the direction of the genius which God has implanted within the mortal consciousness.

-Lanto:  Pearls of Wisdom 12:26, 32

The nature of invading entities is such that whenever an individual seeks to improve himself by engaging in religious worship, by attending a constructive lecture or concert or by reading religious literature the vibratory action of the higher pursuit makes the entity extremely uncomfortable.  The entity, unwilling to relinquish his hold on the lifestream, will then project to his consciousness a feeling of discomfort or unhappiness and this, he will assure the individual, is directly attributable to the function in which the individual is involved.  In this manner many sincere souls are either stopped on the path or they are prevented from obtaining the benefits of higher meditation.  Thus through their susceptibility to invading entities they are deprived of the opportunity to receive transcendent blessings.
This is why spiritual protection is necessary for those who would continue to progress on the upward way--protection not only through the knowledge I am conveying but also through decrees, through prayer and through the determination to do the will of God no matter what the argument of the opposition may be.     -Lanto:  Pearls of Wisdom 12:32

114.   Every step is valuable when it is straightforward in its unwavering striving.  We go through so many specialties in order to fuse and transmute them in the heart.  Who then will not become aflame when the bonfire is already kindled!

The only way to be truly happy is to give oneself totall to the universe and to God, at the same time being aware of and expecting from God the return gift of one's real Self.  One of the greatest dangers in the religious quest has been brought about as men have given themselves to God, thinking that that was all they had to do.  Not understanding the responsibilities of freewill they then acted the part of the nebulous ninny.  Having no will of their own they would flip and flop back and forth blown by every wind, obsessed with what we will call the law of uncertainty.

Man cannot with impunity fix the constancy of his being upon the qualities of imperfection. Therefore when you turn your attention to the Presence and place your creative ability in the hands of God  you may at first seem limited but in reality you will not be.

-Paul the Venetian:  Pearls of Wisdom 13:43

In reality man can make a secret covenant with his God which is far above the prying eyes of the profane.  Accomplishing this through total surrender he finds coming into manifestation on the altar of his heart a sense of the omnipresence of God and his own unity with that Presence....
It is in the hope of bringing into the world community--the religious as well as the secular--a greater sense of purpose in God, of dedication to the Christ and of inner striving for unity with the great Law that I speak.  For so long as mankind continue to involve themselves in karmic patterns of destructivity so long will they reflect destruction in their actions and the peace of my Son be manifest only in part.

4-9-18       Syrian President Bashar Assad, with the help of his allies Russia and Iran, has been bombing Douma after the breakdown of negotiations with the rebel group, Jaish al-Islam, which controls the city.  Douma had a population of 500,000 before the crisis.  The location is not far from the infamous nerve gas attack in August 2013, when 1,400 people suffocated to death after exposure to sarin gas.  The Syrian regime was blamed for the attack.
At that time, President Barack Obama did not follow through on his 2012 warning that there would be consequences if the Syrian government crossed a “red line.” The red line referred to use of chemical weapons and was meant to prevent Assad from using those internationally prohibited weapons against his people.  Well, the red line was crossed, not one time, but more than 200 times, according to a recent report by the Syrian Network for Human Rights.
The report outlines repeated use of chemical weapons by the Syrian regime between December 2012 and February 2018, noting that scores of attacks occurred after a 2013 United Nations resolution required the Syrian government to destroy its full stockpile of chemical weapons.
There has been no accountability.  Instead, the use of chemical weapons has been normalized, and the lack of accountability has set a dangerous precedent.  It probably gave the green light to other regimes and dictators to use chemical agents with impunity against their foes.  The nerve agent VX was used to assassinate North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s half brother in Malaysia in February 2017.  And recently, the nerve agent Novichok was used to poison former Russian spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, in southern England — the first time chemical weapons have been used in Europe since World War II.
After each massacre in Syria, the world is apparently caught by surprise.  Innocent children die because of a shortage of antidotes, ventilators, oxygen and doctors.  After so many attacks in Syria with chemical agents, the World Health Organization and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, which is responsible for enforcement of chemical weapons protocols, still don’t have in place a process to confirm quickly which chemical agent has been used in an attack.
In response to the Khan Sheikhoun attack in April 2017, the United States fired a few long-range missiles onto the Syrian airfield used by the fighter jets that dropped their loads of nerve gas in that attack.  It was more of a slap on the wrist to prevent further use of the illegal agents and to affirm the norms of war.  But apparently the message was not heard in Damascus.  There have been multiple uses of chemical agents directed at rebel-controlled areas since last year.  http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/commentary/ct-perspec-massacre-syria-gas-chemical-attack-trump-0410-20180409-story.html
