The crude menagerie of thoughts and feelings spawned in the subconscious minds of the populace forms a mass entity whose name is Legion. A synthesis of synthetic images, this entity is stamped out of the mold of the mass effluvia. Gracious ones, the quickening of hope in every human heart is always a manifestation of the love of the eternal Presence of Life that beats that heart, invoking upon the altar thereof a realization that behind the veil of personal illusion is the great winged God-Self, the divine exponent of freedom for every man.
The world today, steeped in the degradation of cumulative delusion, does not understand reality. All reality, blessed ones, is in the heart of your Presence, fashioning for you one and all--in the great infinite Presence of Life that expands throughout space and time--the image of joy, the abundant life and God-happiness. This is all captured within the flame of the Immortal One, the flame that translates itself into a semblance of reality in human persons but never manifests perfection until the ritual of the ascension has been completed by each lifestream
Men feeding on their own illusions are often bereft of the great happiness of the God-intent for them individually, b cause illusion fosters illusion. And by and by the veil becomes so thick and so strong an enclosure as to separate man almost totally from the real aspects of his identity.
The temporal identity becomes then each man’s nemesis, yet he deems it his friend. Men make friends with their outer selves and consider their outer selves to be closely identified with reality. However, blessed ones, the ascended masters one and all know that the outer self is totally illusion, just as the inner self is the Absolute, the Infinite, the divine Image. It is impossible for the outer man to ever externalize his divinity until he identifies and is made one with it. Simply put, the outer self cannot inherit the kingdom; for flesh and blood cannot.
Man is a spiritual being. And he must then discard those personal aspects of self-identity which cloud from view the reality of the divine Self and prevent him, per se, from entering into an overcoming sense of cosmic grandeur--the nobility of the soul as it manifests its light-complex, its wholeness, its complete freedom to express its latent divinity. Divinity is only latent in man because he lives so much in the outer sense-consciousness and so little in the internal security of the eternal Presence. This is no play on words, gracious ones, but it is the manifestation of immortal keys to your freedom.
At times it is difficult for us to reach through the veil, coming as we do through our beloved Messengers who are subjected to many pressures that seek to impede the flow of our light-energy, our wisdom and our strength. We give our energy through the veil of outer persons and through the veil of our messengers, transmuting wherever possible every shadow in their worlds. We seek to eventually produce that wide latitude of manifestation which would be [for us] to step through the veil of literal manifestation into form so that the exact concept we seek to voice will be understood by our auditors, even as we ourselves speak it. We hope then that all will comprehend the need to penetrate not only the word-sense of our releases from on high but also the great spiritual afflatus of cosmic energy, the flow of our love and our preeminence as the manifestation of your eternal Presence into your world.
You see, beloved ones, the eternal Presence acts. I AM in you and you are in Me. The eternal Presence acts through the ascended masters, and the radiation of that higher octave of light flows forth. You also through identifying with the ascended masters in the world of form permit the selfsame God-energy from on high to become congruent with your own and to flow through the human triad as monadic manifestation of the eternal One--the three agreeing in One!
Body corporeal must be understood, even as corporeal sense is grasped, in order to convey the physical frame and form of the universe. And the mind-penetrating substance must be known as the directing intelligence, or universal sense-consciousness, which comes from God and is the manifestation of your own I AM Presence in form. This permeating Christ-intelligence, directing all manifestations of outer nature, is also able (if given preeminence) to direct the intelligence of your body and mind and being until the triad of manifestation is a unity of oneness.
Let all understand then that the Spirit, or the Soul, of God is also identified with man as the gift of the Creator. In its highest order this gift of Himself is identification with all creation, with all cosmos, with every ascended master, with every angel deva, with every builder of form. And so the many become the one as the sense of each one becomes the sense of all.
We then seek to create in you the means of dispelling illusion so that the divine flame pulsating within you will burn the veils of discordant energy, of negative thoughts, of false concepts of separation of self. Thus you will see the divine reality blazing through you, which is the passport for mankind to know their own freedom. Freedom is the freedom to enter into the real and into the heart of the real. Freedom is not license to manifest the whimsy of the human will. It is the great identification with the One and with the Presence of love, life and light everywhere manifest.
But there is a vibratory action; there is an essential realization that must come to all. It may come in many ways that are not necessarily identifiable in word concepts, but it may come as an actualization of the Presence that, once realized by man, merges that realization with the whole in such a manner as to seem wholly natural. This is the absorption of the inlet into the sea, of the drop into the ocean, of the one separated monad into the total monadic Self. When this is done in a natural manner there is no sense of pressure or struggle that is brought about, but there is simply the beautiful, sweet satisfaction of expanding being.
But when this is done through force and from lower levels of manifestation there is always the sense of struggle that makes that struggle. And even when it is done from heights far above the realm of the ordinary man’s mind, as a leap into cosmic arms, there is the onrushing sense of absorption. This is unnecessary, and it too provides some element of struggle. For individuals actually seek to impede their own onrush of progress into the Godhead in order to effect greater comfortability for the ego that is diminishing while it becomes the ego that is increasing.
Let all understand then that the naturalness of cosmic Life is to manifest the great love of God’s heart and to have the willingness to blend the complete manifestation of self--garnered through the whole journey of man’s manifestation--into the eternal with no sense of struggle or desire to resist that blending. This seems to men to be contrary to themselves, and it seems to them to be a merging unto death. It is not; it is a merging, and the only merging, unto Life. Without it men could never attain or achieve spiritual integration, and they would remain continually in the round of struggle and sense consciousness.
Dispel your illusions then concerning absorption into the heart of God and have no fear of that absorption. The heart of God is home to us who dwell within it and who seek ever each day to become more of the Infinite and less of the finite manifestation, even residual. [This absorption] manifests when a person is transmuted into a God-flame, [thus becoming an] ascended master. This must be understood in depth as showing the meaning of total absorption wherein the Father receives the son that they may both become one. And this then ultimates in the son himself bowing unto the Father, that God may be All-in-all.
Let men understand the meaning of all of this. For the purposes of Life were to convey Life, and Life could not be conveyed without realization and awareness. And therefore consciousness came from God and was sent unto man as His highest gift in order that man might become one with God. Without consciousness of identity, without consciousness of self there would have been no mirror into which the Eternal could have projected His light.
And thus self-identity was that mirror. It has borne down through the ages the reflection of many illicit images other than the one intended to be conveyed! But that matters not. When the inlet finds its entrée into the sea of Being and identifies with the allness of God the splendor of true reality is mirrored. And in that outpicturing the son becomes one with the Father. And there is no loss to either, for God desires it to
be so, and the son desires it also. Thus out of One did He make many, and out of many will He one day make One.
Every ascended master and every cosmic being welcomes above all things our entrée into that grand heart of eternal purpose. But we see as a part of our service to Life the giving of our energies and attention to you--even on a personal level--and many times in order that we may assist you to find that selfsame harmonium of Being that we know in part and that all shall become in whole. With the fullest sense of the rapture of the eternal morning I come to you, brethren of the holy light of God that never fails, to remind you of the early purposes of Identity--those purposes that are related to a sense of purity, clarity, beauty, honor and loveliness.
The world now in the latter days has approached a point where it seems that the old values are in a state of decay. But this is an illusion and we say “Perish the thought!” For we would teach mankind the method whereby they can recapture the old patterns and movements of progress and order which were intended to guide the family of nations and the illustrious men and women who have achieved a more than ordinary accomplishment for mankind and for God down through the ages.
We are concerned then with a sense of victory that must and ought to be captured by the mind. For the mind of man possesses a most marvelous quality and capacity whereby the most fragile thoughts can actually be spread upon the canopy of the mind. And when those thoughts are sustained in all of their beauty and wonder, when they are composed of the ideas that are themselves the very thoughts of God individuals will find themselves leaving behind the cups of darkness, of shame, of discouragement, of pleasure-madness and pleasure-satiation. And instead they will find themselves entering into a most beautiful sense whereby they will be able to then see clearly how they may provide, for themselves and their posterity, the fullest measure of universal complementation. And by this little phrase I simply mean the capturing of the reality of the Self. For the divine Image in all of its usefulness from the Beginning onward has ever been the star that has magnetized hope to a dying world. It is the star that has brought forth the fructifying ideas that will enable the soul to bask at last in its real and true sense of Cosmic Christ potential.
And while we are on the magnificent subject of Cosmic Christ potential let me tell you that mankind do not for one moment, in most cases, exert more than 5 percent of their energy in seeking to magnetize spiritual goals for themselves. The bulk of their time is spent in earning a living or in human nonsense, such as involvement in the snarls of competition and struggle, which is all vanity.
We would teach mankind the glorious way of becoming Godlike through the simple idea (which has been conveyed to you earlier this day) of meditating upon the thoughts that God thinks and then making them your own. Now when you do this you will find a very subtle but beautiful state of reality blossoming upon the stalk of identity. You will find that the fabric of your lives will become changed.
For the interweaving of cosmic ideas into the strands of mortal thought and feeling will soon cause the little gray nubs of mortal consciousness to show forth. But the pure snow-white wool that comes from the infinite Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world is able to phase out those awful anomalies of mortal thought and feeling, of sense consciousness—which one can well call “the sins of the world”—and to make them white as snow, though they be as scarlet. For behold! The Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world is to reveal the immaculate state of the consciousness of God that would ever provide for those in His creation the fullness of all their requirements, both now and forever. The Father of all is not only the Master Shepherd of life but He is also the Lamb of God Himself.
For the Father Himself went forth into the son. The Father went forth into the son of manifestation. From the Beginning the Father identified with the creation that He had made and offered unto the creation the sacrifice of Himself--the eternal sacrifice of the Lamb of God, which has stood in every generation in order to provide a propitiation for the weaknesses of the manifestation of the created son. God has ever sought to assuage mortal grief in order to bring mankind to the realization that their freedom is real, that the flame of freedom possesses the capacity to cause the dross to be pulled off from the human nature and to be replaced by the refining gold of the sacred fire.
Somehow in the consciousness of mankind, in the human consciousness, there is a sootiness which has been introduced by the periodicals of the world. For with the art of hieroglyph and writing also came the means of conveying and sustaining, in stone or upon papyrus or paper, some communication of basic ideas which in many cases have not only been basic but base; and thus there has been a continual conveyance to man-
kind via the so-called printed page of those communications that have established keys in the consciousness of men whereby they have been pulled down rather than exalted.
Conversely when the Brotherhood has sought to expand the domain of God-reality to the world by the tomes of sacred writings some awful individuals, who have lent themselves (wittingly or unwittingly) to the dark forces to become their tools, have altered the structures of the scriptures or their interpretation thereof. And they have caused mankind to feel no certain sense of reality, which would give them that required sure-footedness that the great Law would insist should come about because of the hungers in the hearts of men. For the hungers in the hearts of men today and in all ages have been very great. Often individuals have felt that they could not give voice to these hungers, and in shame they have kept them to themselves.
Yet we are sure you will understand that whenever the cosmic beings who dwell in the higher octaves of light have approached the mankind of earth--either in actual manifest form or in the invisible state whereby they provide the pulsations of hope, of joy, of love or of some celestial opportunity--these cosmic beings have always approached mankind with some degree of apprehension. For in the state of consciousness in which the angels dwell there are never any of those concepts which mankind hold here which are so common in their interchanges with one another.
We want you then to understand and to grasp the principle that heaven is the light and the human consciousness is the night. We also want you to understand that it is the desire of God to project simply and sweetly into the night the fullness and brilliance of His light that comes forth as manifest intelligence and is the capacity to create in the world of form poetic art forms, sculpture, architecture and painting. This light also comes forth to sculpt in the human consciousness those magnificent patterns which will bring mankind into the awareness of the kingdom of God, the kingdom of light, the kingdom of heaven--call it what you will.
The quickening power of the Spirit is ever at hand to give mankind the inspiration for which their hearts cry out. But there are always those individuals who are clothed with garments of hypocrisy and who stand forth in the marketplaces of life to convey to man the false teachings, which are actually the emptiness of their own souls. These individuals mouth strange platitudes and creations of human thought which never satisfy the hungry of heart who would have only the marvelous God-activity of the Divine Presence revealed to them. These hungry of heart are not satisfied by the food that is fed unto swine, but they demand that the bread which came down from heaven be made manifest upon the table of life so that they may receive it and be nourished thereby and expand the flame of their identity and existence into higher octaves of truth.
O beloved ones, as you were told earlier in some rather odd form that seemed to provide some amusement to your being, let me say to you that there is a great opportunity for individuals to realize the reality of God simply by meditating upon the things that are in heaven, the things that are manifest in the higher consciousness. You must bear in mind that these things, which you are not always able to conceive of, are already conceived of by the mind of God and therefore have a real and permanent existence. These are not things or qualities that you need to imagine or conceive of; they already exist, and their potency simply needs to be contacted by the individual.
Therefore you should understand that when you meditate upon your own thoughts and find that they are made of the substance of vanity you should quickly drop them like a hot potato and reach out to receive the fruit of the Spirit that is being dispensed to humankind--the panis angelicus, the “bread of angels” which comes down to humankind and tutors them in the inward revelation of the heart and imparts to them the knowledge that God’s love is always surrounding them.
The only problem here is the matter of attunement. And attunement is a sweet and simple process that requires a quieting of the ordinary activities of the mind. These activities of the mind, in their vain and repetitious circles and cycles, continue to persecute the real identity of the God-man by forcing him into a state of consciousness--almost as a billiard ball is knocked into a pocket--where he has no will of his own, where he is deprived of his very God-existence through those habits which he himself has created or acceded to by his acceptance of them in previous times.
Bear in mind then that the Law of Light--the mighty power of light and the infinite radiation that comes forth from the heart of God--is the power of freedom to the world. But individuals often do not know what this really means. And so I shall try tonight to create in a worded pattern some idea of just what this means. And in addition to this, while I am speaking to you, I will also strive to penetrate with the light of the flame of freedom the shrouds of darkness that surround the outer being of man. I do this so that you may have some concept of what it feels like to be an ascended being, to enter into the consciousness of an angel, to be able to possess the power of penetrability whereby you can penetrate the dense substance of thought and feeling.
Thus you can begin to have an inward sense of the joy of the atoms and electrons as they are pulsating--by the magnificent power of God that is rhythmically released from on high by the passions of the Great Central Sun--as light, light, light, light, light, light, light seeks to manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest in form. Light seeks to manifest in order that it might magnetize and draw forth from form the power of light itself so that mankind can understand that they are in all reality not darkness but light. And as they understand this they will rise as crescendos of music through the marvelous pathways of light that are provided in cosmic space everywhere. And they will return to the heart of the Great Central Sun through the grand hall of the galaxies where they might once again hear that which is known as the music of the spheres, the pulsations of freedom.
The flame of freedom is very much there, actively engaged in singing to mankind the song of the angels, the song of reality, the song of life that somehow or other is not often heard by mankind in this world of form. And it is in this world of form that the busyness of life--like the spinning of an old spinning wheel or the weaving sounds of an old loom as the shuttle moves to and fro--seems to occupy the consciousness of mankind almost as fire with its pulsations holds their rapt attention.
We do not so much object to the pulsations of fire holding the manifest attentions of men, because we know that fire with its multitude of pulsations has a quality of relaxation that conveys to the consciousness. Through this quality of relaxation the consciousness, as it comes to a point where it can let go of itself, will finally do so. And in that moment of sweet surrender individuality no longer means any more than a bubble upon the ocean, and man suddenly realizes he must let go of that bubble, for it will burst as the pressures of the ocean come in contact with it. And when it bursts it is as though the first Sun of all systems of worlds has finally come forth and has risen out of the swamps and the morasses of darkness, glowing there in the dark and providing man his first gaze upon reality. And he begins to understand that he was not created then to occupy one confining prison of mortal form whereby he could no longer understand the miracle of Being. But he was given a body and an opportunity therewith whereby he could understand that that body is a vehicle of expression that he himself should learn to bring under dominion, even as he should learn to bring under dominion his mind and his entire being and spirit. This he should do so that he learns how to respond to the pulsations of the living flame of the living God.
This is the pulsation of freedom. This is the meaning of freedom—to express the intent of God that is able to fashion those marvelous activities of beauty within the psyche and being of man that have never before been dreamed of by him in his philosophy or his reason. Let all then understand that our desire to give you freedom tonight is born of the sacred fire. For we ourselves are not occupied in vain politics or in the seeking of solutions to problems already created by humankind. Ours is more the concern with probing the depths and the elements of divine grace.
For the power of God with all of its transcendent love is an infinite power and not a finite one. Because the nature of God is infinite and not finite the nature of God is a most marvelous treasure whereby individuals can and do proceed after their ascension to seek the penetration of these mysteries in a manner they never conceived of while they were yet engaged in the battle of searching for their spiritual freedom.
But oh, what joy is theirs! What a passion of marvelous intensity occupies the consciousness when men are freed at last from the concerns of the flesh and the business of earning a living, the economic concerns. When men are free to actually pursue the Divine Self they then begin to open the first doors that lead to freedom from captivity. Oh, what joy floods over the chalice lip of the cup of Life eternal! And how wonderful it is that this is so. For there are many people upon the planet Earth today who, in their vain imaginations, have the strangest concepts about life beyond the veil. These individuals somehow seem to imagine that we are either dead, that we are occupied with doing nothing or that we are so immersed in the wonders of God that we ourselves cease to be.
Yet I assure you that the consciousness of individuality is a hallowed concept. And when God Himself gave to man the power of the individual flame to function under the pulsations of the divine will or the human will that freedom of choice was actually the marvelous boon of opportunity to the soul whereby the soul, in making proper choices, would find itself crowned at last with immortal life, together with immortal destiny.
We want you to understand then the meaning of the words destiny and density. Destiny of course is the ultimate conclusion of it all, which because it is infinite is never con- cluded. And density is the force which mankind have created through the misapplication [of freewill] in the space-time continuum whereby there is a prevention of the penetration of the searching mind and being for the realities which they themselves already are.
When you understand this, when you grasp this principle, when you begin to cognize this--that you yourselves have actually put into space those ideas which are preventative of the manifestation of your true reality--you will understand then the need to lend yourselves lovingly to the application of freedom so that you might in every way seek to find freedom for yourselves and all mankind.
We heartily approve of the various activities that you have engaged in this day for and on behalf of freedom. For we assure you, with all the love of heaven, that if mankind fall underneath the power of the red dragon or fall under the power of the diabolical Satanists, who desire to control the world, that men would not be able to realize the true fruit of the kingdom of God. This is the fruit that the idealists of the world would like to see manifest somehow or other. But because many of these idealists are being misguided or brain- washed by forces of darkness, as some of your own have told you, they are not able to see the true fruit of the kingdom of God. And therefore they become ploys of the children of darkness, whereas they themselves are idealists who desire to express beauty and love for the whole world.
Do you think for one moment that God Himself is not aware of the problems of the world--of the racial problems, the problems of poverty, the problems of the human psyche and all of their wide latitudes? We assure you that heaven is aware of them. Why then do you suppose that God Himself has not stepped down in various forms of bodies and liberated mankind? Do you not see that when God committed to men their own destiny and said “Take dominion over the world,” it was because he had given to man the actual destiny-control of himself?
This is why individuals are able to rise so high or fall so low. It is because when individuals use their God-power wrongly it becomes no longer God-power but deified evil, which creates an energy veil, a spawn of darkness in the world that conceals the real light and creates enormous cosmic and karmic accountability. This [misuse of God-power] does apply to [an individual’s life] record. And sadly enough it brings about unhappiness and pain in the whole world complex.
But now as I come to you it is to tell you, beloved ones, that you must always understand that some of these conditions are beyond your reach. You as an individual sometimes cannot actually change these conditions in all of their vast complexity. But you can use the decrees that you have been given, and you can understand that one with God is a majority.
When you unite with your own great Divine Self and with the flame of freedom you are creating a breach in the wall of darkness so that there can come about the penetration of light into the world of form. And as this light comes through into the world of form and penetrates mortal consciousness it will by contrast bring about through the medium of the Divine Self a white paper upon the earth, which will show clearly that the darkened ones have actually manifested a “black paper” of hatred, infamy and deceit.
We then--who desire to manifest a white paper of the love of God, of the purity of the Christ, of the cosmic honor flame and of the virtue that all the world is waiting for--stand forth tonight penetrating the veil with our character, as this Messenger has told you. For if we ourselves actually stepped through the veil in visible, tangible form, there would be many of you who would not see in the embodied form the ligaments (: connecting or unifying bonds) of the character, which has been declared to you as the real ascended being.
I AM Saint Germain, Sanctus Germanus, Holy Brother. I AM one who is dedicated to the manifestation of the flame of freedom in all hearts, one who desires to see the flame of freedom manifest in all parts of the world. I AM one who would like to see all people upon earth able to hear the song of freedom as it sings its melody in the hearts and minds--a cooling refreshment that affords men a little bit of heaven right while they are here upon earth awaiting their redemption.
For redemption simply means, blessed ones, that you reevaluate all of the activities of the personal person. And as you begin to reevaluate them you will see what is important to you and what is not. And when you are able to reevaluate them in the light of spiritual experience through attunement with the higher cosmic masters and beings and as you enter into our consciousness and our domain you will find that you will requalify, with the quality of light, many of the things which you previously misqualified with darkness.
Thus there will come about, within the fabric of your being and within the mind itself, a very wonderful transmuting agency. This transmuting agency will almost automatically, through the power of cosmic automation, take in, or ingest, substance that itself is impure. And it will actually cause this substance to take on the aspects of purity through the white-hot intensity of its love for freedom and truth.
Will this not be a wonderful experience then when individuals actually attain to this? I think you must admit it! For it is a cosmic truth of great dimension that penetrates through the veil and enables man to see that his own intention must become allied with the divine intention. And as it does so one by one the strands that have created the veil--which has actually caused men to feel the sense of hopelessness--are burned away by the flame of cosmic light and love.
The grasp of truth that occupies the consciousness of being is very real indeed. It enables men to not only change the atoms and electrons and the molecules of the physical form in their manifest nature but it also enables them to penetrate into the very sensitivities of the mind, the probing fingers thereof, and to thus cause men to respond to the God-graces and God-ideals that are so much a part of the world of heaven.
How we yearn then tonight to see the world feel the power of freedom’s flame pulsating and beating within the octaves of this earth, even as it pulsates and beats in the higher octaves of light. We then who yearn to see this power of freedom’s flame in manifest expression are aware that we have produced it in some individuals in part and in others to a lesser degree. But we see a little yearning flame in the tender hearts of many upon the planet which causes us to believe that there is a great deal of hope for this blessed planet, regardless of the dark cycle (of 33 years in the physical quadrant) that started back in the month of April.
We want you then to understand, blessed ones, that there is an activity of redemption that is the eternal power of the light as it passes forth. The eternal power of the light passes forth in every age to redeem mankind. During the medieval times and during what is known as the Dark Ages there were then manifest spirits of light upon the planet that held some focus of beauty for the earth. And in times past Sanat Kumara, that blessed one, held the flame so long for this planet. Therefore, today we feel that there are many multitudinous throngs of those who yearn to be disciples of our heart. To them we say: this night we will impart a flame within which will increase tenfold the power of that which is already there. We do this so that we may be able to see that an activity of light which has already commenced is now increased by the power of the One who is the increaser of the talents of men.
We are going to greatly empower some of you this night, and from this night forward, with a flame of freedom. We are going to reestablish here some of the old codifications of universal Law that existed in past golden ages. For right while the dark cycle is throbbing and cutting like a scythe through human consciousness we are simultaneously going to build the kingdom of God, the kingdom of the light, right here upon this planet. And when men are able to see the beauty of the soul, the beauty of freedom, the beauty of love as it manifests in your heart--when they are able to see this and contrast it with the darkness and despair that is in the world I think this contrast alone will bring thousands and ultimately millions into the fold of the ascension.
And this of course is the goal that we have always sought to objectify in the world of form--to redeem the hosts of this planet and to bring them to a state of celestial awareness. Thereby even though they were not always able to manifest in one day all that they would desire to manifest and which would take a thousand years to manifest, at the same time they would realize that God in His infinite mercy would provide them the necessary time--if they would offer themselves to Him and do it with sincerity and honesty and the willingness to balance their debts to life and to find their freedom through their Christ-identity--the power of the infinite light of God that never wanes, that never fails, that never ceases in its outreach to teach mankind and to tutor the souls of men.
And therefore we seek not to gather men together, as did Nimrod of old, to build a tower of Babel. We seek not to build a United Nations, but we seek to build a united world through each individual’s harmonization with the Divine Self. For when all are harmonized with the Divine Self the beauty of the light will establish the kingdom of God upon earth, and no one shall “hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea,” saith the LORD.
But when the vanity of men seeks to conscript and band individuals together for nefarious purposes, behold they are acting under Lucifer, under the malintent of the powers of darkness. And we find no virtue in this whatsoever. There is no virtue in the Luciferian concept but only that nihilism which must ultimately consume, upon the walls of the pit, the one who is brought down to the pit because he sought to exalt himself above the Gods, yea above the stars.
For behold, the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven. Behold, the Lord Himself shall take command over the souls of men. He cometh, as Enoch of old prophesied, with ten thousand of His saints to execute judgment upon the ungodly and the unrighteousness of mankind. He cometh to produce the miracle of freedom in the world, to promote the love of the great Cosmic Christ over the world. The wings of the LORD shall come forth then. The wings of the morning shall raise the consciousness fourfold. All the corners of the earth--north, east, west and south--shall be lifted up.
And behold, the LORD who sitteth on the side of the north shall come. And when He cometh He shall manifest to mankind the reality that is within them as he stands with upraised hands and invokes, upon the utterance of his Word, the responsive chord of the Lord deep within. And a spiritual gold in all of its refined state shall cause the response of the tuning of the power of God within to respond to the tuning of the power of God without and within.
For the Lord is both within and without. He cometh as a whirlwind. He surrounds the aura of man with the power of his light. And the great cosmic spiral turns, and man rises upon a spiral staircase—a staircase to the stars, to the stars of reality, to the stars of hope, to the magnitude of truth within the individual.
Let go then, I say in God’s name, of those senseless foibles that have actually kept you grounded! Become spiritual men and women who can rise because you have dumped overboard the ballast that has held you downward. Be willing and ready to rise! Be willing and ready to respond!
Be alert! Be alert! Be alert and be alive! Be the quick, not the dead! For you are called now to the purposes of the light. And the world awaits the activity of God within each and every one of you, an activity of God that will show to each one the power of our reality!
Do you see, blessed ones? If you act the part of the fool and go out into the world and become, in one sense, one who is a fool, wearing a pointed cap with bells on it and loudly pro- claiming yourself to be just that, do you suppose then that people will say, “We have seen Saint Germain”? It cannot be. For they will know that there is no reality or mastery in you because you are not following in our footsteps. And therefore when you follow in our footsteps the reverse is true and they say, “There goes an individual who has something powerful and invisible. I do not know what it is, what they have. But they have something that is tangible and real.” Don’t you see how utterly important it is then that you yourselves become the manifestation of all that we are?
In heaven’s name do you suppose that all the energy that has been expended upon you this day and throughout the days that are past--and that is always being poured out upon mankind and especially upon the chelas of the light--is a vain activity? Of course it is not! It is an activity that is calculated to give rise within you to the highest and noblest aspirations. Then precious ones, why do some of you in the bitterness of the human and mortal self actually become restless? Why do you become restless, and in your restlessness lash out at one another or find fault with one another or seek to pick apart the actual kingdom of God? It is so unnecessary for you to do this.
You see, precious ones, all you have to do is let go of that vanity of the human person. Just let go of it now. Won’t you do that for me? Won’t you do it for yourself? Won’t you do it for your own I AM Presence? Won’t you let go of the sense of littleness, of smallness? Won’t you realize that God--the greatest God in all of His majesty, in all of His reality--wants to impart to the very smallest and the least developed of you the fullness of Himself?
Won’t you understand that He wants you to have your freedom? Won’t you understand that your freedom is already within you? It simply needs to be loosened from the heart. It is a song of eternal virtue, and in its melodies it imparts to each individual life the qualities that unwind [negative substance]--even as the shroud was unwound from Lazarus when he, responding to Jesus’ voice, came forth from the tomb of matter and substance and into the light of the Christ.
And now God is calling to the soul within and He saith unto the soul, “O sleeping one, come forth!” [Messenger shouts.] And as He calls “come forth!” there is a response, a quicken- ing of the Holy Spirit within the flame of the heart--a descent of the Paraclete that cleaves the dark with twinflames,* a radiant celestial fire descending and blending with the self below to elevate and raise. As a lotus opening upon the stalk of identity drinks in the fresh new power of the sun at sunrise, so the soul may receive the flow of cosmic tides of life and love--the resurrection flame, Resurgam Christos, the resurrection flame, Resurgam Christos, the resurrection flame, Resurgam Christos!
Come forth, O Christ, in all--out of the tomb of matter, out of dense desire, out of the swamps on fire now. Come forth with hope, with love, with joy, with peace--no sense of struggle but only a realization that the eyes must be open to behold God. God is real! He imparts and is a part of all. He seeks not to steal adoration but to give it, to lavish upon His creation a fire of hope, to mature the bond of cosmic identity which He spoke with the first Logoi-word: “Go forth. Multiply and replenish the earth. Take dominion.”
And now as Eden surrounds the soul the soul separates from the mortal self and rises, ascending into the air. The individual psyche finds itself a free, God-free being, breathing a prayer of redemption for the world. The ascending soul looks longingly toward mankind from whence he then withdraws for a season to commune with the higher reason of the infinite Law.
And God then who understands all of this so well, knoweth full well that the sphinx and the lion’s paw conceal the idea of the God entombed in matter--the lion that must lie down with the lamb; the blending then of freedom for man and every manifestation, the creation of the credo of light that enables man to grasp the hand of the celestial spark and become charged with that fire.
And as the flow [from above] is established within the self below the hungers for God within will draw more and more and more and more and more and more quickening substance into the within in man, until he at last perceives that the power of the Holy Spirit within him is the power to carry him whithersoever he would go. And go he will to a place of light, the dwelling place of the Gods--the realm of the ascended masters, the ascended masters’ consciousness, the kingdom of heaven, the higher state of exaltation, the realization of who he is. All of this will become the manifest inheritance of the sons of men.
Some have already--many have already--received this gift. They are a part of our band. They are one with us, and with us they stand. But you here below--who hear our voice and move to and fro in the world order, who sometimes feel the sullen disorder that surrounds you--realize now that the penetration of God’s love is able to break the bonds and to shatter the ties of all of these illusions. It is able to free you from all these confusions in order to loose you and let you go.
Take off then the grave cloths. The power of death, which is no power at all, is the last enemy that we shall destroy. Take them off and cast them off with all of the other ploys and disgusting manifestations of mortality. Cast them to one side! They have not served you well. Cast them to one side! They have merely created a spell of illusion, a bad dream of confusion from which you must awaken. And we ourselves would now desire to see you have and feel and be and know the flame of freedom--to set you free, set you free, set you free.
Accept it. For what we are doing in this class is what we have been doing for the past thousands of years. And yet much of it is new to some and also very refreshing, in its newness, to others who have known much about it. We are delighted with this opportunity. And we are delighted with the program and the plan that will unfold as this class moves forward under the direction of Master Morya and Mother Mary, who have undertaken with myself the responsibility for reestablishing upon earth the greatest manifestation of the flame of freedom in more individuals than has ever occurred in any century for a long period of time.
There is hope midst the darkness--it is the hope of the light eternal, it is the hope within you. Cherish it, wrap your hands around it. Clasp it to your heart. cherish it with the fingers of the mind. Cherish it with the fabric of your soul, cherish it with your allness. It will make you whole.

Prior to Saint Germain’s dictation Lieutenant-Colonel Arch E. Roberts, U.S. Army, retired, spoke to the congregation from his great knowledge of military affairs and the problems threatening the world. Colonel Roberts, described by Mark L. Prophet as “a great patriot,” was the author of Victory Denied: Why Your Son Faces Death in “No-Win Wars”, 1966, and The Anatomy of a Revolution: A Manual for Survival, 1968. Satan was bound by Archangel Michael in 1968. On January 27, 1982 he was remanded to the Court of the Sacred Fire, resulting in his final judgment and second death. (See Jesus Christ, “The Final Judgment of Satan,” Pearls of Wisdom, vol. 25, no. 16.) When a fallen one is bound and taken to the Court of the Sacred Fire the next ranking false hierarch assumes his office and title. Satan and Lucifer are the original names of these two Antichrists. Their underlings go by these names and use them as titles. Thus we must still anticipate, as Hercules says, the initiations of “Satan” and “Lucifer” handed down through their lieutenants,who invoke their mantles even though they have ceased to exist. The “seed,” i.e., consciousness, of Satan and Lucifer remains a force to be dealt with by the lightbearers so long as there are those on the left-handed path who embody and propagate it.

The dark cycle of the return of mankind’s karma began April 23, 1969. Before this date there was a period when mankind’s misqualified energy (which eventually returns as negative karma), had been held in abeyance for centuries under the great mercy of the Law. But on April 23, 1969 this karma was released according to the cycles of the initiations of the solar hierarchies for balance. In the face of the same propensity for darkness prevalent before the Flood, when “the wickedness of man was great in the earth” and “every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Gen. 6:5), the Lords of Karma decreed this action in order to deter an even greater abuse of life’s opportunity and to forestall that cataclysm which could be the ultimate consequence of the rising tide of world sin. The returning cycles of karma upon the world had to slow down mankind’s ability to make more karma and thus check the acceleration of the judgment of men and nations which could otherwise hasten “final ends.” The cycle concluded on April 22, 2002. Sanat Kumara held the flame for this planet. In his July 3, 1961 dictation El Morya explained that often “it becomes necessary to dissolve a planet because of discordant manifestations and to return it to the universal light.” Long ago in Earth’s darkest hour the light had gone out in her evolutions, and cosmic councils decreed the dissolution of the planet because not a single soul was giving adoration to the God Presence. Sanat Kumara, hierarch of the planet Venus, prevented planet Earth from being dissolved. He volunteered to come to Earth to keep the threefold flame of life on behalf of her people. One hundred and forty-four thousand souls from Venus volunteered to come with him in support of his mission. They vowed to keep the flame with him until the children of God would respond and turn once again to serve their mighty I AM Presence. Four hundred who formed the avant-garde were sent ahead to build the magnificent retreat of Shamballa on an island in the Gobi Sea (now the Gobi Desert). There Sanat Kumara anchored the focus of the threefold flame, establishing the initial thread of contact with all on Earth by extending rays of light from his heart to their own. Meditating upon the thoughts that God thinks. In her dictation on July 4, 1969 Mother Mary said: “Holiness is the point of light within the consciousness of God. After Mother Mary’s dictation of July 4, 1969 Elizabeth Clare Prophet invited the congregation to take this opportunity to commune with nature on the property. She said, “We will ring the big elephant bell that can be heard everywhere when we’re ready to serve. So you can go all over the grounds and talk and commune with the elementals.” Mark L. Prophet said “This elephant bell comes from India, but we do ask that you don’t trample down the little flowers.”
The Latin term panis angelicus (“bread of the angels”) also refers to the piece of music “Panis Angelicus” from the hymn “Sacris solemniis” by Saint Thomas Aquinas. “Panis Angelicus” is often treated as a separate hymn and set to music, as did composer César Franck. Gracious ones, the quickening of hope in every human heart is always a manifestation of the love of the eternal Presence of Life that beats that heart, invoking upon the altar thereof a realization that behind the veil of personal illusion is the great winged God-Self, the divine exponent of freedom for every man.
The world today, steeped in the degradation of cumulative delusion, does not understand reality. All reality, blessed ones, is in the heart of your Presence, fashioning for you one and all--in the great infinite Presence of Life that expands throughout space and time--the image of joy, the abundant life and God-happiness. This is all captured within the flame of the Immortal One, the flame that translates itself into a semblance of reality in human persons but never manifests perfection until the ritual of the ascension has been completed by each lifestream
Men feeding on their own illusions are often bereft of the great happiness of the God-intent for them individually, b cause illusion fosters illusion. And by and by the veil becomes so thick and so strong an enclosure as to separate man almost totally from the real aspects of his identity.
The temporal identity becomes then each man’s nemesis, yet he deems it his friend. Men make friends with their outer selves and consider their outer selves to be closely identified with reality. However, blessed ones, the ascended masters one and all know that the outer self is totally illusion, just as the inner self is the Absolute, the Infinite, the divine Image. It is impossible for the outer man to ever externalize his divinity until he identifies and is made one with it. Simply put, the outer self cannot inherit the kingdom; for flesh and blood cannot.
Man is a spiritual being. And he must then discard those personal aspects of self-identity which cloud from view the reality of the divine Self and prevent him, per se, from entering into an overcoming sense of cosmic grandeur--the nobility of the soul as it manifests its light-complex, its wholeness, its complete freedom to express its latent divinity. Divinity is only latent in man because he lives so much in the outer sense-consciousness and so little in the internal security of the eternal Presence. This is no play on words, gracious ones, but it is the manifestation of immortal keys to your freedom.
At times it is difficult for us to reach through the veil, coming as we do through our beloved Messengers who are subjected to many pressures that seek to impede the flow of our light-energy, our wisdom and our strength. We give our energy through the veil of outer persons and through the veil of our messengers, transmuting wherever possible every shadow in their worlds. We seek to eventually produce that wide latitude of manifestation which would be [for us] to step through the veil of literal manifestation into form so that the exact concept we seek to voice will be understood by our auditors, even as we ourselves speak it. We hope then that all will comprehend the need to penetrate not only the word-sense of our releases from on high but also the great spiritual afflatus of cosmic energy, the flow of our love and our preeminence as the manifestation of your eternal Presence into your world.
You see, beloved ones, the eternal Presence acts. I AM in you and you are in Me. The eternal Presence acts through the ascended masters, and the radiation of that higher octave of light flows forth. You also through identifying with the ascended masters in the world of form permit the selfsame God-energy from on high to become congruent with your own and to flow through the human triad as monadic manifestation of the eternal One--the three agreeing in One!
Body corporeal must be understood, even as corporeal sense is grasped, in order to convey the physical frame and form of the universe. And the mind-penetrating substance must be known as the directing intelligence, or universal sense-consciousness, which comes from God and is the manifestation of your own I AM Presence in form. This permeating Christ-intelligence, directing all manifestations of outer nature, is also able (if given preeminence) to direct the intelligence of your body and mind and being until the triad of manifestation is a unity of oneness.
Let all understand then that the Spirit, or the Soul, of God is also identified with man as the gift of the Creator. In its highest order this gift of Himself is identification with all creation, with all cosmos, with every ascended master, with every angel deva, with every builder of form. And so the many become the one as the sense of each one becomes the sense of all.
We then seek to create in you the means of dispelling illusion so that the divine flame pulsating within you will burn the veils of discordant energy, of negative thoughts, of false concepts of separation of self. Thus you will see the divine reality blazing through you, which is the passport for mankind to know their own freedom. Freedom is the freedom to enter into the real and into the heart of the real. Freedom is not license to manifest the whimsy of the human will. It is the great identification with the One and with the Presence of love, life and light everywhere manifest.
But there is a vibratory action; there is an essential realization that must come to all. It may come in many ways that are not necessarily identifiable in word concepts, but it may come as an actualization of the Presence that, once realized by man, merges that realization with the whole in such a manner as to seem wholly natural. This is the absorption of the inlet into the sea, of the drop into the ocean, of the one separated monad into the total monadic Self. When this is done in a natural manner there is no sense of pressure or struggle that is brought about, but there is simply the beautiful, sweet satisfaction of expanding being.
But when this is done through force and from lower levels of manifestation there is always the sense of struggle that makes that struggle. And even when it is done from heights far above the realm of the ordinary man’s mind, as a leap into cosmic arms, there is the onrushing sense of absorption. This is unnecessary, and it too provides some element of struggle. For individuals actually seek to impede their own onrush of progress into the Godhead in order to effect greater comfortability for the ego that is diminishing while it becomes the ego that is increasing.
Let all understand then that the naturalness of cosmic Life is to manifest the great love of God’s heart and to have the willingness to blend the complete manifestation of self--garnered through the whole journey of man’s manifestation--into the eternal with no sense of struggle or desire to resist that blending. This seems to men to be contrary to themselves, and it seems to them to be a merging unto death. It is not; it is a merging, and the only merging, unto Life. Without it men could never attain or achieve spiritual integration, and they would remain continually in the round of struggle and sense consciousness.
Dispel your illusions then concerning absorption into the heart of God and have no fear of that absorption. The heart of God is home to us who dwell within it and who seek ever each day to become more of the Infinite and less of the finite manifestation, even residual. [This absorption] manifests when a person is transmuted into a God-flame, [thus becoming an] ascended master. This must be understood in depth as showing the meaning of total absorption wherein the Father receives the son that they may both become one. And this then ultimates in the son himself bowing unto the Father, that God may be All-in-all.
Let men understand the meaning of all of this. For the purposes of Life were to convey Life, and Life could not be conveyed without realization and awareness. And therefore consciousness came from God and was sent unto man as His highest gift in order that man might become one with God. Without consciousness of identity, without consciousness of self there would have been no mirror into which the Eternal could have projected His light.
And thus self-identity was that mirror. It has borne down through the ages the reflection of many illicit images other than the one intended to be conveyed! But that matters not. When the inlet finds its entrée into the sea of Being and identifies with the allness of God the splendor of true reality is mirrored. And in that outpicturing the son becomes one with the Father. And there is no loss to either, for God desires it to
be so, and the son desires it also. Thus out of One did He make many, and out of many will He one day make One.
Every ascended master and every cosmic being welcomes above all things our entrée into that grand heart of eternal purpose. But we see as a part of our service to Life the giving of our energies and attention to you--even on a personal level--and many times in order that we may assist you to find that selfsame harmonium of Being that we know in part and that all shall become in whole. With the fullest sense of the rapture of the eternal morning I come to you, brethren of the holy light of God that never fails, to remind you of the early purposes of Identity--those purposes that are related to a sense of purity, clarity, beauty, honor and loveliness.
The world now in the latter days has approached a point where it seems that the old values are in a state of decay. But this is an illusion and we say “Perish the thought!” For we would teach mankind the method whereby they can recapture the old patterns and movements of progress and order which were intended to guide the family of nations and the illustrious men and women who have achieved a more than ordinary accomplishment for mankind and for God down through the ages.
We are concerned then with a sense of victory that must and ought to be captured by the mind. For the mind of man possesses a most marvelous quality and capacity whereby the most fragile thoughts can actually be spread upon the canopy of the mind. And when those thoughts are sustained in all of their beauty and wonder, when they are composed of the ideas that are themselves the very thoughts of God individuals will find themselves leaving behind the cups of darkness, of shame, of discouragement, of pleasure-madness and pleasure-satiation. And instead they will find themselves entering into a most beautiful sense whereby they will be able to then see clearly how they may provide, for themselves and their posterity, the fullest measure of universal complementation. And by this little phrase I simply mean the capturing of the reality of the Self. For the divine Image in all of its usefulness from the Beginning onward has ever been the star that has magnetized hope to a dying world. It is the star that has brought forth the fructifying ideas that will enable the soul to bask at last in its real and true sense of Cosmic Christ potential.
And while we are on the magnificent subject of Cosmic Christ potential let me tell you that mankind do not for one moment, in most cases, exert more than 5 percent of their energy in seeking to magnetize spiritual goals for themselves. The bulk of their time is spent in earning a living or in human nonsense, such as involvement in the snarls of competition and struggle, which is all vanity.
We would teach mankind the glorious way of becoming Godlike through the simple idea (which has been conveyed to you earlier this day) of meditating upon the thoughts that God thinks and then making them your own. Now when you do this you will find a very subtle but beautiful state of reality blossoming upon the stalk of identity. You will find that the fabric of your lives will become changed.
For the interweaving of cosmic ideas into the strands of mortal thought and feeling will soon cause the little gray nubs of mortal consciousness to show forth. But the pure snow-white wool that comes from the infinite Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world is able to phase out those awful anomalies of mortal thought and feeling, of sense consciousness—which one can well call “the sins of the world”—and to make them white as snow, though they be as scarlet. For behold! The Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the world is to reveal the immaculate state of the consciousness of God that would ever provide for those in His creation the fullness of all their requirements, both now and forever. The Father of all is not only the Master Shepherd of life but He is also the Lamb of God Himself.
For the Father Himself went forth into the son. The Father went forth into the son of manifestation. From the Beginning the Father identified with the creation that He had made and offered unto the creation the sacrifice of Himself--the eternal sacrifice of the Lamb of God, which has stood in every generation in order to provide a propitiation for the weaknesses of the manifestation of the created son. God has ever sought to assuage mortal grief in order to bring mankind to the realization that their freedom is real, that the flame of freedom possesses the capacity to cause the dross to be pulled off from the human nature and to be replaced by the refining gold of the sacred fire.
Somehow in the consciousness of mankind, in the human consciousness, there is a sootiness which has been introduced by the periodicals of the world. For with the art of hieroglyph and writing also came the means of conveying and sustaining, in stone or upon papyrus or paper, some communication of basic ideas which in many cases have not only been basic but base; and thus there has been a continual conveyance to man-
kind via the so-called printed page of those communications that have established keys in the consciousness of men whereby they have been pulled down rather than exalted.
Conversely when the Brotherhood has sought to expand the domain of God-reality to the world by the tomes of sacred writings some awful individuals, who have lent themselves (wittingly or unwittingly) to the dark forces to become their tools, have altered the structures of the scriptures or their interpretation thereof. And they have caused mankind to feel no certain sense of reality, which would give them that required sure-footedness that the great Law would insist should come about because of the hungers in the hearts of men. For the hungers in the hearts of men today and in all ages have been very great. Often individuals have felt that they could not give voice to these hungers, and in shame they have kept them to themselves.
Yet we are sure you will understand that whenever the cosmic beings who dwell in the higher octaves of light have approached the mankind of earth--either in actual manifest form or in the invisible state whereby they provide the pulsations of hope, of joy, of love or of some celestial opportunity--these cosmic beings have always approached mankind with some degree of apprehension. For in the state of consciousness in which the angels dwell there are never any of those concepts which mankind hold here which are so common in their interchanges with one another.
We want you then to understand and to grasp the principle that heaven is the light and the human consciousness is the night. We also want you to understand that it is the desire of God to project simply and sweetly into the night the fullness and brilliance of His light that comes forth as manifest intelligence and is the capacity to create in the world of form poetic art forms, sculpture, architecture and painting. This light also comes forth to sculpt in the human consciousness those magnificent patterns which will bring mankind into the awareness of the kingdom of God, the kingdom of light, the kingdom of heaven--call it what you will.
The quickening power of the Spirit is ever at hand to give mankind the inspiration for which their hearts cry out. But there are always those individuals who are clothed with garments of hypocrisy and who stand forth in the marketplaces of life to convey to man the false teachings, which are actually the emptiness of their own souls. These individuals mouth strange platitudes and creations of human thought which never satisfy the hungry of heart who would have only the marvelous God-activity of the Divine Presence revealed to them. These hungry of heart are not satisfied by the food that is fed unto swine, but they demand that the bread which came down from heaven be made manifest upon the table of life so that they may receive it and be nourished thereby and expand the flame of their identity and existence into higher octaves of truth.
O beloved ones, as you were told earlier in some rather odd form that seemed to provide some amusement to your being, let me say to you that there is a great opportunity for individuals to realize the reality of God simply by meditating upon the things that are in heaven, the things that are manifest in the higher consciousness. You must bear in mind that these things, which you are not always able to conceive of, are already conceived of by the mind of God and therefore have a real and permanent existence. These are not things or qualities that you need to imagine or conceive of; they already exist, and their potency simply needs to be contacted by the individual.
Therefore you should understand that when you meditate upon your own thoughts and find that they are made of the substance of vanity you should quickly drop them like a hot potato and reach out to receive the fruit of the Spirit that is being dispensed to humankind--the panis angelicus, the “bread of angels” which comes down to humankind and tutors them in the inward revelation of the heart and imparts to them the knowledge that God’s love is always surrounding them.
The only problem here is the matter of attunement. And attunement is a sweet and simple process that requires a quieting of the ordinary activities of the mind. These activities of the mind, in their vain and repetitious circles and cycles, continue to persecute the real identity of the God-man by forcing him into a state of consciousness--almost as a billiard ball is knocked into a pocket--where he has no will of his own, where he is deprived of his very God-existence through those habits which he himself has created or acceded to by his acceptance of them in previous times.
Bear in mind then that the Law of Light--the mighty power of light and the infinite radiation that comes forth from the heart of God--is the power of freedom to the world. But individuals often do not know what this really means. And so I shall try tonight to create in a worded pattern some idea of just what this means. And in addition to this, while I am speaking to you, I will also strive to penetrate with the light of the flame of freedom the shrouds of darkness that surround the outer being of man. I do this so that you may have some concept of what it feels like to be an ascended being, to enter into the consciousness of an angel, to be able to possess the power of penetrability whereby you can penetrate the dense substance of thought and feeling.
Thus you can begin to have an inward sense of the joy of the atoms and electrons as they are pulsating--by the magnificent power of God that is rhythmically released from on high by the passions of the Great Central Sun--as light, light, light, light, light, light, light seeks to manifest, manifest, manifest, manifest in form. Light seeks to manifest in order that it might magnetize and draw forth from form the power of light itself so that mankind can understand that they are in all reality not darkness but light. And as they understand this they will rise as crescendos of music through the marvelous pathways of light that are provided in cosmic space everywhere. And they will return to the heart of the Great Central Sun through the grand hall of the galaxies where they might once again hear that which is known as the music of the spheres, the pulsations of freedom.
The flame of freedom is very much there, actively engaged in singing to mankind the song of the angels, the song of reality, the song of life that somehow or other is not often heard by mankind in this world of form. And it is in this world of form that the busyness of life--like the spinning of an old spinning wheel or the weaving sounds of an old loom as the shuttle moves to and fro--seems to occupy the consciousness of mankind almost as fire with its pulsations holds their rapt attention.
We do not so much object to the pulsations of fire holding the manifest attentions of men, because we know that fire with its multitude of pulsations has a quality of relaxation that conveys to the consciousness. Through this quality of relaxation the consciousness, as it comes to a point where it can let go of itself, will finally do so. And in that moment of sweet surrender individuality no longer means any more than a bubble upon the ocean, and man suddenly realizes he must let go of that bubble, for it will burst as the pressures of the ocean come in contact with it. And when it bursts it is as though the first Sun of all systems of worlds has finally come forth and has risen out of the swamps and the morasses of darkness, glowing there in the dark and providing man his first gaze upon reality. And he begins to understand that he was not created then to occupy one confining prison of mortal form whereby he could no longer understand the miracle of Being. But he was given a body and an opportunity therewith whereby he could understand that that body is a vehicle of expression that he himself should learn to bring under dominion, even as he should learn to bring under dominion his mind and his entire being and spirit. This he should do so that he learns how to respond to the pulsations of the living flame of the living God.
This is the pulsation of freedom. This is the meaning of freedom—to express the intent of God that is able to fashion those marvelous activities of beauty within the psyche and being of man that have never before been dreamed of by him in his philosophy or his reason. Let all then understand that our desire to give you freedom tonight is born of the sacred fire. For we ourselves are not occupied in vain politics or in the seeking of solutions to problems already created by humankind. Ours is more the concern with probing the depths and the elements of divine grace.
For the power of God with all of its transcendent love is an infinite power and not a finite one. Because the nature of God is infinite and not finite the nature of God is a most marvelous treasure whereby individuals can and do proceed after their ascension to seek the penetration of these mysteries in a manner they never conceived of while they were yet engaged in the battle of searching for their spiritual freedom.
But oh, what joy is theirs! What a passion of marvelous intensity occupies the consciousness when men are freed at last from the concerns of the flesh and the business of earning a living, the economic concerns. When men are free to actually pursue the Divine Self they then begin to open the first doors that lead to freedom from captivity. Oh, what joy floods over the chalice lip of the cup of Life eternal! And how wonderful it is that this is so. For there are many people upon the planet Earth today who, in their vain imaginations, have the strangest concepts about life beyond the veil. These individuals somehow seem to imagine that we are either dead, that we are occupied with doing nothing or that we are so immersed in the wonders of God that we ourselves cease to be.
Yet I assure you that the consciousness of individuality is a hallowed concept. And when God Himself gave to man the power of the individual flame to function under the pulsations of the divine will or the human will that freedom of choice was actually the marvelous boon of opportunity to the soul whereby the soul, in making proper choices, would find itself crowned at last with immortal life, together with immortal destiny.
We want you to understand then the meaning of the words destiny and density. Destiny of course is the ultimate conclusion of it all, which because it is infinite is never con- cluded. And density is the force which mankind have created through the misapplication [of freewill] in the space-time continuum whereby there is a prevention of the penetration of the searching mind and being for the realities which they themselves already are.
When you understand this, when you grasp this principle, when you begin to cognize this--that you yourselves have actually put into space those ideas which are preventative of the manifestation of your true reality--you will understand then the need to lend yourselves lovingly to the application of freedom so that you might in every way seek to find freedom for yourselves and all mankind.
We heartily approve of the various activities that you have engaged in this day for and on behalf of freedom. For we assure you, with all the love of heaven, that if mankind fall underneath the power of the red dragon or fall under the power of the diabolical Satanists, who desire to control the world, that men would not be able to realize the true fruit of the kingdom of God. This is the fruit that the idealists of the world would like to see manifest somehow or other. But because many of these idealists are being misguided or brain- washed by forces of darkness, as some of your own have told you, they are not able to see the true fruit of the kingdom of God. And therefore they become ploys of the children of darkness, whereas they themselves are idealists who desire to express beauty and love for the whole world.
Do you think for one moment that God Himself is not aware of the problems of the world--of the racial problems, the problems of poverty, the problems of the human psyche and all of their wide latitudes? We assure you that heaven is aware of them. Why then do you suppose that God Himself has not stepped down in various forms of bodies and liberated mankind? Do you not see that when God committed to men their own destiny and said “Take dominion over the world,” it was because he had given to man the actual destiny-control of himself?
This is why individuals are able to rise so high or fall so low. It is because when individuals use their God-power wrongly it becomes no longer God-power but deified evil, which creates an energy veil, a spawn of darkness in the world that conceals the real light and creates enormous cosmic and karmic accountability. This [misuse of God-power] does apply to [an individual’s life] record. And sadly enough it brings about unhappiness and pain in the whole world complex.
But now as I come to you it is to tell you, beloved ones, that you must always understand that some of these conditions are beyond your reach. You as an individual sometimes cannot actually change these conditions in all of their vast complexity. But you can use the decrees that you have been given, and you can understand that one with God is a majority.
When you unite with your own great Divine Self and with the flame of freedom you are creating a breach in the wall of darkness so that there can come about the penetration of light into the world of form. And as this light comes through into the world of form and penetrates mortal consciousness it will by contrast bring about through the medium of the Divine Self a white paper upon the earth, which will show clearly that the darkened ones have actually manifested a “black paper” of hatred, infamy and deceit.
We then--who desire to manifest a white paper of the love of God, of the purity of the Christ, of the cosmic honor flame and of the virtue that all the world is waiting for--stand forth tonight penetrating the veil with our character, as this Messenger has told you. For if we ourselves actually stepped through the veil in visible, tangible form, there would be many of you who would not see in the embodied form the ligaments (: connecting or unifying bonds) of the character, which has been declared to you as the real ascended being.
I AM Saint Germain, Sanctus Germanus, Holy Brother. I AM one who is dedicated to the manifestation of the flame of freedom in all hearts, one who desires to see the flame of freedom manifest in all parts of the world. I AM one who would like to see all people upon earth able to hear the song of freedom as it sings its melody in the hearts and minds--a cooling refreshment that affords men a little bit of heaven right while they are here upon earth awaiting their redemption.
For redemption simply means, blessed ones, that you reevaluate all of the activities of the personal person. And as you begin to reevaluate them you will see what is important to you and what is not. And when you are able to reevaluate them in the light of spiritual experience through attunement with the higher cosmic masters and beings and as you enter into our consciousness and our domain you will find that you will requalify, with the quality of light, many of the things which you previously misqualified with darkness.
Thus there will come about, within the fabric of your being and within the mind itself, a very wonderful transmuting agency. This transmuting agency will almost automatically, through the power of cosmic automation, take in, or ingest, substance that itself is impure. And it will actually cause this substance to take on the aspects of purity through the white-hot intensity of its love for freedom and truth.
Will this not be a wonderful experience then when individuals actually attain to this? I think you must admit it! For it is a cosmic truth of great dimension that penetrates through the veil and enables man to see that his own intention must become allied with the divine intention. And as it does so one by one the strands that have created the veil--which has actually caused men to feel the sense of hopelessness--are burned away by the flame of cosmic light and love.
The grasp of truth that occupies the consciousness of being is very real indeed. It enables men to not only change the atoms and electrons and the molecules of the physical form in their manifest nature but it also enables them to penetrate into the very sensitivities of the mind, the probing fingers thereof, and to thus cause men to respond to the God-graces and God-ideals that are so much a part of the world of heaven.
How we yearn then tonight to see the world feel the power of freedom’s flame pulsating and beating within the octaves of this earth, even as it pulsates and beats in the higher octaves of light. We then who yearn to see this power of freedom’s flame in manifest expression are aware that we have produced it in some individuals in part and in others to a lesser degree. But we see a little yearning flame in the tender hearts of many upon the planet which causes us to believe that there is a great deal of hope for this blessed planet, regardless of the dark cycle (of 33 years in the physical quadrant) that started back in the month of April.
We want you then to understand, blessed ones, that there is an activity of redemption that is the eternal power of the light as it passes forth. The eternal power of the light passes forth in every age to redeem mankind. During the medieval times and during what is known as the Dark Ages there were then manifest spirits of light upon the planet that held some focus of beauty for the earth. And in times past Sanat Kumara, that blessed one, held the flame so long for this planet. Therefore, today we feel that there are many multitudinous throngs of those who yearn to be disciples of our heart. To them we say: this night we will impart a flame within which will increase tenfold the power of that which is already there. We do this so that we may be able to see that an activity of light which has already commenced is now increased by the power of the One who is the increaser of the talents of men.
We are going to greatly empower some of you this night, and from this night forward, with a flame of freedom. We are going to reestablish here some of the old codifications of universal Law that existed in past golden ages. For right while the dark cycle is throbbing and cutting like a scythe through human consciousness we are simultaneously going to build the kingdom of God, the kingdom of the light, right here upon this planet. And when men are able to see the beauty of the soul, the beauty of freedom, the beauty of love as it manifests in your heart--when they are able to see this and contrast it with the darkness and despair that is in the world I think this contrast alone will bring thousands and ultimately millions into the fold of the ascension.
And this of course is the goal that we have always sought to objectify in the world of form--to redeem the hosts of this planet and to bring them to a state of celestial awareness. Thereby even though they were not always able to manifest in one day all that they would desire to manifest and which would take a thousand years to manifest, at the same time they would realize that God in His infinite mercy would provide them the necessary time--if they would offer themselves to Him and do it with sincerity and honesty and the willingness to balance their debts to life and to find their freedom through their Christ-identity--the power of the infinite light of God that never wanes, that never fails, that never ceases in its outreach to teach mankind and to tutor the souls of men.
And therefore we seek not to gather men together, as did Nimrod of old, to build a tower of Babel. We seek not to build a United Nations, but we seek to build a united world through each individual’s harmonization with the Divine Self. For when all are harmonized with the Divine Self the beauty of the light will establish the kingdom of God upon earth, and no one shall “hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea,” saith the LORD.
But when the vanity of men seeks to conscript and band individuals together for nefarious purposes, behold they are acting under Lucifer, under the malintent of the powers of darkness. And we find no virtue in this whatsoever. There is no virtue in the Luciferian concept but only that nihilism which must ultimately consume, upon the walls of the pit, the one who is brought down to the pit because he sought to exalt himself above the Gods, yea above the stars.
For behold, the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven. Behold, the Lord Himself shall take command over the souls of men. He cometh, as Enoch of old prophesied, with ten thousand of His saints to execute judgment upon the ungodly and the unrighteousness of mankind. He cometh to produce the miracle of freedom in the world, to promote the love of the great Cosmic Christ over the world. The wings of the LORD shall come forth then. The wings of the morning shall raise the consciousness fourfold. All the corners of the earth--north, east, west and south--shall be lifted up.
And behold, the LORD who sitteth on the side of the north shall come. And when He cometh He shall manifest to mankind the reality that is within them as he stands with upraised hands and invokes, upon the utterance of his Word, the responsive chord of the Lord deep within. And a spiritual gold in all of its refined state shall cause the response of the tuning of the power of God within to respond to the tuning of the power of God without and within.
For the Lord is both within and without. He cometh as a whirlwind. He surrounds the aura of man with the power of his light. And the great cosmic spiral turns, and man rises upon a spiral staircase—a staircase to the stars, to the stars of reality, to the stars of hope, to the magnitude of truth within the individual.
Let go then, I say in God’s name, of those senseless foibles that have actually kept you grounded! Become spiritual men and women who can rise because you have dumped overboard the ballast that has held you downward. Be willing and ready to rise! Be willing and ready to respond!
Be alert! Be alert! Be alert and be alive! Be the quick, not the dead! For you are called now to the purposes of the light. And the world awaits the activity of God within each and every one of you, an activity of God that will show to each one the power of our reality!
Do you see, blessed ones? If you act the part of the fool and go out into the world and become, in one sense, one who is a fool, wearing a pointed cap with bells on it and loudly pro- claiming yourself to be just that, do you suppose then that people will say, “We have seen Saint Germain”? It cannot be. For they will know that there is no reality or mastery in you because you are not following in our footsteps. And therefore when you follow in our footsteps the reverse is true and they say, “There goes an individual who has something powerful and invisible. I do not know what it is, what they have. But they have something that is tangible and real.” Don’t you see how utterly important it is then that you yourselves become the manifestation of all that we are?
In heaven’s name do you suppose that all the energy that has been expended upon you this day and throughout the days that are past--and that is always being poured out upon mankind and especially upon the chelas of the light--is a vain activity? Of course it is not! It is an activity that is calculated to give rise within you to the highest and noblest aspirations. Then precious ones, why do some of you in the bitterness of the human and mortal self actually become restless? Why do you become restless, and in your restlessness lash out at one another or find fault with one another or seek to pick apart the actual kingdom of God? It is so unnecessary for you to do this.
You see, precious ones, all you have to do is let go of that vanity of the human person. Just let go of it now. Won’t you do that for me? Won’t you do it for yourself? Won’t you do it for your own I AM Presence? Won’t you let go of the sense of littleness, of smallness? Won’t you realize that God--the greatest God in all of His majesty, in all of His reality--wants to impart to the very smallest and the least developed of you the fullness of Himself?
Won’t you understand that He wants you to have your freedom? Won’t you understand that your freedom is already within you? It simply needs to be loosened from the heart. It is a song of eternal virtue, and in its melodies it imparts to each individual life the qualities that unwind [negative substance]--even as the shroud was unwound from Lazarus when he, responding to Jesus’ voice, came forth from the tomb of matter and substance and into the light of the Christ.
And now God is calling to the soul within and He saith unto the soul, “O sleeping one, come forth!” [Messenger shouts.] And as He calls “come forth!” there is a response, a quicken- ing of the Holy Spirit within the flame of the heart--a descent of the Paraclete that cleaves the dark with twinflames,* a radiant celestial fire descending and blending with the self below to elevate and raise. As a lotus opening upon the stalk of identity drinks in the fresh new power of the sun at sunrise, so the soul may receive the flow of cosmic tides of life and love--the resurrection flame, Resurgam Christos, the resurrection flame, Resurgam Christos, the resurrection flame, Resurgam Christos!
Come forth, O Christ, in all--out of the tomb of matter, out of dense desire, out of the swamps on fire now. Come forth with hope, with love, with joy, with peace--no sense of struggle but only a realization that the eyes must be open to behold God. God is real! He imparts and is a part of all. He seeks not to steal adoration but to give it, to lavish upon His creation a fire of hope, to mature the bond of cosmic identity which He spoke with the first Logoi-word: “Go forth. Multiply and replenish the earth. Take dominion.”
And now as Eden surrounds the soul the soul separates from the mortal self and rises, ascending into the air. The individual psyche finds itself a free, God-free being, breathing a prayer of redemption for the world. The ascending soul looks longingly toward mankind from whence he then withdraws for a season to commune with the higher reason of the infinite Law.
And God then who understands all of this so well, knoweth full well that the sphinx and the lion’s paw conceal the idea of the God entombed in matter--the lion that must lie down with the lamb; the blending then of freedom for man and every manifestation, the creation of the credo of light that enables man to grasp the hand of the celestial spark and become charged with that fire.
And as the flow [from above] is established within the self below the hungers for God within will draw more and more and more and more and more and more quickening substance into the within in man, until he at last perceives that the power of the Holy Spirit within him is the power to carry him whithersoever he would go. And go he will to a place of light, the dwelling place of the Gods--the realm of the ascended masters, the ascended masters’ consciousness, the kingdom of heaven, the higher state of exaltation, the realization of who he is. All of this will become the manifest inheritance of the sons of men.
Some have already--many have already--received this gift. They are a part of our band. They are one with us, and with us they stand. But you here below--who hear our voice and move to and fro in the world order, who sometimes feel the sullen disorder that surrounds you--realize now that the penetration of God’s love is able to break the bonds and to shatter the ties of all of these illusions. It is able to free you from all these confusions in order to loose you and let you go.
Take off then the grave cloths. The power of death, which is no power at all, is the last enemy that we shall destroy. Take them off and cast them off with all of the other ploys and disgusting manifestations of mortality. Cast them to one side! They have not served you well. Cast them to one side! They have merely created a spell of illusion, a bad dream of confusion from which you must awaken. And we ourselves would now desire to see you have and feel and be and know the flame of freedom--to set you free, set you free, set you free.
Accept it. For what we are doing in this class is what we have been doing for the past thousands of years. And yet much of it is new to some and also very refreshing, in its newness, to others who have known much about it. We are delighted with this opportunity. And we are delighted with the program and the plan that will unfold as this class moves forward under the direction of Master Morya and Mother Mary, who have undertaken with myself the responsibility for reestablishing upon earth the greatest manifestation of the flame of freedom in more individuals than has ever occurred in any century for a long period of time.
There is hope midst the darkness--it is the hope of the light eternal, it is the hope within you. Cherish it, wrap your hands around it. Clasp it to your heart. cherish it with the fingers of the mind. Cherish it with the fabric of your soul, cherish it with your allness. It will make you whole.

When a fallen one is bound and taken to the Court of the Sacred Fire the next ranking false hierarch assumes his office and title. Satan and Lucifer are the original names of these two Antichrists. Their underlings go by these names and use them as titles. Thus we must still anticipate, as Hercules says, the initiations of “Satan” and “Lucifer” handed down through their lieutenants,who invoke their mantles even though they have ceased to exist. The “seed,” i.e., consciousness, of Satan and Lucifer remains a force to be dealt with by the lightbearers so long as there are those on the left-handed path who embody and propagate it.

The dark cycle of the return of mankind’s karma began April 23, 1969. Before this date there was a period when mankind’s misqualified energy (which eventually returns as negative karma), had been held in abeyance for centuries under the great mercy of the Law. But on April 23, 1969 this karma was released according to the cycles of the initiations of the solar hierarchies for balance. In the face of the same propensity for darkness prevalent before the Flood, when “the wickedness of man was great in the earth” and “every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Gen. 6:5), the Lords of Karma decreed this action in order to deter an even greater abuse of life’s opportunity and to forestall that cataclysm which could be the ultimate consequence of the rising tide of world sin. The returning cycles of karma upon the world had to slow down mankind’s ability to make more karma and thus check the acceleration of the judgment of men and nations which could otherwise hasten “final ends.” The cycle concluded on April 22, 2002. Sanat Kumara held the flame for this planet. In his July 3, 1961 dictation El Morya explained that often “it becomes necessary to dissolve a planet because of discordant manifestations and to return it to the universal light.” Long ago in Earth’s darkest hour the light had gone out in her evolutions, and cosmic councils decreed the dissolution of the planet because not a single soul was giving adoration to the God Presence. Sanat Kumara, hierarch of the planet Venus, prevented planet Earth from being dissolved. He volunteered to come to Earth to keep the threefold flame of life on behalf of her people. One hundred and forty-four thousand souls from Venus volunteered to come with him in support of his mission. They vowed to keep the flame with him until the children of God would respond and turn once again to serve their mighty I AM Presence. Four hundred who formed the avant-garde were sent ahead to build the magnificent retreat of Shamballa on an island in the Gobi Sea (now the Gobi Desert). There Sanat Kumara anchored the focus of the threefold flame, establishing the initial thread of contact with all on Earth by extending rays of light from his heart to their own. Lucifer was bound on April 16, 1975 and taken to the Court of the Sacred Fire where he stood trial before the Four and Twenty Elders for a period of ten days. He was sentenced to the second death on April 26, 1975.
Meditating upon the thoughts that God thinks. In her dictation on July 4, 1969 Mother Mary said: “Holiness is the point of light within the consciousness of God. Holiness reaches its fullest expression in the point of light within the consciousness of man.... For you must rise to the point where you may preconceive and have preknowledge of the creations within your own consciousness.... After Mother Mary’s dictation of July 4, 1969 Elizabeth Clare Prophet invited the congregation to take this opportunity to commune with nature on the property. She said, “We will ring the big elephant bell that can be heard everywhere when we’re ready to serve. So you can go all over the grounds and talk and commune with the elementals.” Mark L. Prophet said “This elephant bell comes from India, but we do ask that you don’t trample down the little flowers.”
The Latin term panis angelicus (“bread of the angels”) also refers to the piece of music “Panis Angelicus” from the hymn “Sacris solemniis” by Saint Thomas Aquinas. “Panis Angelicus” is often treated as a separate hymn and set to music, as did composer César Franck. This particular composition is one of Franck’s most famous works. See also Ps. 78:25.
