orthodoxy

We shall see what we can do tonight for the mankind of Earth who will acknowledge the power of God that is the living Word–the power of the sword of the Spirit of the living Word that has the power to separate you tonight from your physical bodies without harm and to bid you journey with me from pole to pole, from east to west, from west to east throughout the planetary body and see how dense and gross conditions have encompassed humanity round about with privation, with a spirit of frustration, with a spirit of doubt, with a spirit of confusion, with a spirit of orthodoxy, with a spirit of disease, with a spirit of mental illness, with a spirit of psychic confusion and disorder, with a spirit that itself resembles a pigpen. -Elohim Cyclopea, Pearl 21:24 .......... It is the Church itself as the universal mystical body of God that stands in all ages in all time and space gainst which the gates of hell shall not prevail But human institutions rise and fall. And when a human institution is no longer a vehicle for the ongoing cycles of the Eternal One then we must find another chalice—yea, not only find it but raise it up, forge it, create it and then, fashioning the most noble crystal chalice, pour into it the new wine that will not be taken by the old bottles of an orthodoxy that has been corrupted by machinations of those very fallen ones of whom you have spoken this day. -Archeia Mary, Pearl 24:71 ….............. …………… Believers formed small congregations bound by strands of teacher-to-pupil ties, and met to worship and to read [their] scriptures together. Some inspired by their patriarch’s predictions that the end of the present cosmic era would be signaled by great catastrophes and by the appearance of a savior sent by the Eternal Mother rose in rebellion in order to usher in the new world. Although outlawed...for their beliefs, deemed incompatible with official orthodoxy and conducive to violent political act ion, communities of White Lotus adherents survived and grew in subsequent centuries. http://www.summitlighthouse.org/pearls/1984pows/pw84bk2int.html?query_highlight=orthodoxy ………….. Thus they have drawn a circle of orthodoxy and they have kept out not only the living God but you, my brothers and sisters, who could no longer be stifled where there is preached another time the doctrine of the only Son of God, the doctrine of death and hell and fire and brimstone and eternal damnation for the children of God. I tell you, it is the lie of Satan and the seed of the wicked. -Jesus Christ, Pearl 27:31 .................. I do not mind that you break the bread of Life with them and for them, for they cannot take the whole loaf. I do not mind when, filled with the Holy Spirit, you break down the Word I give to the simple understanding, to the level of the child. I rejoice in your ingenuity when you can create children’s stories, like Aesop’s fables, illustrating complex truths which may not be accepted in their naked reality; for many close the door when confronting the true teaching on the nature of Good and Evil, Armageddon, the messengers, the incarnate Word. All of these things at once, beloved hearts, incite fear and trembling in those yet burdened by orthodoxy. -Archabgel Gabriel, Pearl 27:28 ……………. The council rejected Arius’ position and adopted the Nicene Creed, which read in part: “We believe in one God, the Father Almighty,...and in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only-begotten of his Father,...God of God, Light of Light, very God of very God.” Athanasius, who became the chief proponent of Nicene orthodoxy, explained that the intent of the creed was to show that “the resemblance of the Son to the Father, and his immutability, are different from ours: for in us they are something acquired, and arise from our fulfilling the divine commands” (A Select Library of Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers of the Christian Church [Grand Rapids, Mich.: Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Company, 1979], 2d. ser., 14:3-4). Arius, anathematized by the council, was exiled by edict of Constantine, who also ordered all his books to be burned upon penalty of death. Some of the bishops who assented in the presence of Constantine to the wording of the creed later expressed their remorse. “Only on returning home,” says Wilson, “did Eusebius of Nicomedia, Maris of Chalcedon and Theognis of Nicaea summon the courage to express to Constantine in writing how much they regretted having put their signatures to the Nicene formula: ‘We committed an impious act, O Prince,’ wrote Eusebius of Nicomedia, ‘by subscribing to a blasphemy from fear of you.’...Although no gospel regarded Jesus as God, and not even Paul had done so, the Jewish teacher had been declared Very God through all eternity, and a whole new theology would flow from this....Even in the John gospel, the one most inclined to make Jesus divine, he is reported as stating quite categorically, ‘the Father is greater than I’ (John 14:28).” Furthermore, the emperor’s involvement in Church affairs created a precedent for civil leadership in Church councils. Nicaea “marked the replacement of paganism with Christianity as the religious expression and support of the Roman Empire,” says Durant. “By [Constantine’s] aid Christianity became a state as well as a church, and the mold, for fourteen centuries, of European life and thought.” See Ian Wilson, Jesus: The Evidence (San Francisco: Harper and Row, 1984), pp. 162, 168, 176; and Will Durant, Caesar and Christ, vol. 3 of The Story of Civilization (New York: Simon and Schuster, 1944), pp. 652, 659, 661, 664. …………….. And let me tell you that the scribes and Pharisees are at least outspoken against the light. And they can be defined, for they are the true enemies of Abraham and his seed. But when you take the disciples and subtlety of the carnal mind then you realize that their killing of Christ has been the most deceptive of all and it is not recognized for what it is—sympathetic love. So are they seen establishing a rigid orthodoxy that was not the original perception of Christ come then as a boy, come then as a teenager, come in every stage and state of the path of the bodhisattva to bless the people here and there and throughout the continents. -Jesus Christ, Pearl 28:38 .................. It is the most thrilling story if you could read beyond in the records of akasha, of his encounter with the many on his way—his wisdom, his narrow escapes, what he learned about human character. You have known it as he did in other lives, but it is required to learn it again. It is a refreshing story of one who dared, one who took the chance—the chance of God to be victorious—and made it. It is the most exciting story of the hero of the age. And it will tear them from their orthodoxy, else leave them angry and growling and hissing. -Elohim Arcturus, Pearl 28:3 …………. ………….. I am Portia, your advocate before the Court of Sacred Fire, before the courts of the world and before the court of public opinion. And I speak to all devotees in all new-age movements, in all paths and teachings that go beyond the orthodoxy of the major world religions. -Portia, Pearl 29:7 …….........
