ERs overwhelmed in US and Australia

Emergency Rooms across the nation are experiencing a bed shortage ‘crisis’ because of the massive influx of patients that are showing up “much sicker than” the medical professionals “has ever seen.”
With fewer people catching the virus, you should reasonably expect hospitals to see a decline in ER visits, but somehow the opposite is happening.
The sharp uptick has mainly been driven by much more severe illnesses and conditions than Covid.  In fact, the bulk of the ER visits have been to treat things like abdominal pain, respiratory problems, blood clots, and HEART CONDITIONS –  suicide attempts are also way up.  Is this the ‘vaccine effect’ in action?
From Kaiser Health News  KHN was able to interview some of the staff at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI, which has been one of the hardest-hit ERs in the country.  Tiffany Dusang, the facility’s ER director, said that the entire ordeal is “hard to watch,” and that she feels terrible when she walks the halls and sees dozens of patients sitting in chairs who are in pain.  “I always feel very, very bad when I walk down the hallway and see that people are in pain, or needing to sleep, or needing quiet. But they have to be in the hallway with, as you can see, 10 or 15 people walking by every minute.”
Sparrow has even turned a separate wing of the hospital into a specialty ER overflow unit, but that only provided slight relief for a moment.  The majority of severely ill patients are forced to sit in chairs that line the hallways to receive their care with no privacy whatsoever.
One man, Alejos Perrientoz, had come to the ER with numbness and pain in his arm that had persisted for over a week.  He was shocked to learn when he arrived that he would not be getting a room and instead was given a full physical exam in front of everyone in the hallway.  “I felt a little uncomfortable. But I have no choice, you know?  I’m in the hallway.  There are no rooms.  We could have just done the physical in the parking lot.”
Even patients who arrive by ambulance are not guaranteed a bed or a room when they arrive.  The staff nurse in charge of tirage screens incoming patients to determine which ones absolutely need a bed and which ones can be placed in a hallway chair.
No one likes to take someone out of the privacy of their room and say ‘we’re going to put you in a hallway because we need to get care to someone else.”
Dr. Lisa Moreno, the president of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine, explained that she has received the same reports from her constituents in every part of the country.  The severity of illness and inability to admit patients has created a crisis she described as “not even humane.”
“We are hearing from members in every part of the country.  The midwest, the South, the Northeast, the West – they are seeing the exact same phenomenon.”
One patient that Moreno attended to had been left in a bed for 8 or 9 hours because his nurse had not gotten any time to care for him yet. The paraplegic man had recently gotten surgery for colon cancer and his large post-op wound had been leaking because of a malfunction in the device that sealed his wound.  According to Moreno:  “When I went in, the bed was covered.  I mean he was lying in a puddle of secretions from his wound.  And he was crying, because he said to me:  ‘I’m paralyzed.  I can’t move to get away from all these secretions, and I know I’m going to end up getting an infection.  I know I’m going to end up getting an ulcer.  I’ve been laying like this for 8 or 9 hours.”
Welcome to Biden-Zuela.
The current situation is a clear contrast to the early days of the manufactured China virus pandemic.  In the beginning most ERs across the country were all but completely empty as patients who were terrified of catching the virus did their best to stay away. During that time the media overblew the crisis in urban hotspots like New York City or Los Angeles, which were the only areas that experienced overcrowding like this.  Overall, visits to the ER were down by almost 50% throughout the pandemic and had not returned to normal levels until the end of summer.
The numbers are way up even though most people with less severe conditions have still not been going to hospitals as much as they have in the past. Instead, they are choosing to go to urgent care facilities and primary care doctors for their issues.
Now, despite the majority of Americans who have been beaten into submission to take the experimental jab, ERs across the nation are completely overwhelmed by people who are sicker than ever (sharp increase in strokes, heart attacks, etc.), even in areas where Covid cases are largely under control.
Even the long-term care areas of hospitals are filled to the max. According to Epic Health Research Network, the number of admissions from the ER to inpatient care is up a whopping 20%, compared to pre-pandemic rates.  “It’s an early indicator that what’s happening in the ED is that we are seeing more acute cases than we were pre-pandemic.” – Caleb Cox, Epic Health Data Scientist.
As draconian vaccine mandates cripple the already thinned-out workforce for these hospitals, the once-heralded ‘heroes’ of this pandemic are experiencing massive burnout from the severe overcrowding they are currently experiencing.  This newest crisis is beginning to cause more nurses and healthcare providers to resign or call out from their jobs, which will only be exasperated even more once the mandates fully kick in.
Every single day Dusang checks her Sparrow Health email hoping that she doesn’t receive another resignation letter from one of her nurses, but for many days that is just wishful thinking.  Her staff is leaving too fast to find replacements.  “I cannot tell you how many of them tell me they went home crying [after their shift].  https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/11/hard-watch-hospital-ers-across-nation-completely-overwhelmed-non-covid-patients-sicker-ever-seen-nurses-forced-give-treatments-hallways-no/

Noted by Alex Berenson, something very weird is happening in the state of Western Australia home to a population of almost 3 million people.  The WA state has been locked down and isolated from COVID-19 impacts in the eastern states.
There are very few COVID cases in locked down Western Australia, which has allowed them time to prepare for the potential arrival of the virus which includes a massive vaccination effort.   The state has modeled an anticipated arrival of the COVID virus in early 2022, early next year.  However, as vaccination rates increase the hospitals are being overwhelmed with new patients and the Premier cannot explain why.
Alex Berernson notes comments made by WA Premier Mark McGowan on October 31st about hospitals being currently overwhelmed. “Our hospitals are under enormous pressure. This is the same in [the rest of Australia]. This has been something no one has ever seen before, the growth in demand in our hospitals, why it is is hard, hard to know… There is huge numbers of people coming through the door, so we’re doing everything we can to try to manage it,” says Premier McGowan.
Here is a video of the State Premier explaining his state’s situation.
In a press conference on October 31st, 2021 Western Australia Premier Mark McGowan revealed the state’s hospital system is under extraordinary pressure.
And they don’t know why.  (The state has recorded 1,112 Covid cases in total since the beginning of the pandemic).   https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2021/11/weird-western-australia-no-covid-vaccinations-continue-hospitals-overwhelmed/

Aaron Rodgers took aim at the “woke mob” during his discussion on the Pat McAfee Show.  “I realize I’m in the crosshairs of the woke mob right now,” Rodgers said.  “So, before my final nail gets put in my cancel culture casket, I think I would like to set the record straight on so many of the blatant lies that are out there about myself.”
Rodgers went on to slam the “witch hunt” against unvaccinated players and insisted that he was not “lying” when he said he was “immunized” against the virus.  “I didn’t lie in the initial press conference,” he said, before adding, “It wasn’t some sort of ruse or lie.  It was the truth,” Rodgers insisted.
Rodgers added that he is “not an anti-vax, flat earther” but is instead a “critical thinker.”'  The Packers quarterback said that he spent a lot of time studying the vaccines and discovered that he has an allergy to the ingredients in two of the vaccines.  Then he said the Johnson & Johnson shot was the only one that would be suitable for him.  But before he took the shot it was pulled out of use over clotting issues.
Rogers added that the “immunization protocol” he found that could “best protect myself and my teammates” was a long-term protocol that involved multiple months of treatment.  “I’m very proud of the research that went into that and the individuals I met with; we felt like it was what was best for me,” he said.
However, the NFL refused to accept his plan and insisted that he go in the same category as unvaccinated players.  Rodgers said he then appealed and sent the league 500 pages of research on the vaccines, his status and his ideas for a plan.
Rodgers also revealed that an NFL official told him last year that a vaccinated person can’t get COVID and cannot pass it on.  Rodgers said that this was an untrue claim — and we now know for sure that it is an untrue statement — and he knew that he was dealing with people who had no idea what they were talking about.

“At the time the big three [vaccines] was what they were going to do, and if you weren’t in the vaccinated category, you were in a different category which involved some draconian measures and protocols you’d have to adhere to which were in my opinion not based on science, were more based in a shame-based environment to get as many guys to get vaccinated as possible, so the league looks better to the rest of the world.  That was the focus of these protocols,” he said.  He also said that there is “no science” showing that masks prevent the spread of the virus and added that the attacks on unvaccinated people are nothing but propaganda.
He claimed that the media and the pro-vaxers are “just keeping this propaganda narrative going that unvaccinated people are the most dangerous people in society.
“That is what the media has been trying to do,” he continued, “they’re trying to shame and out and cancel all of us not vaccinated people, call us selfish.  I mean, that’s the propaganda line too that you’re selfish for making a decision that’s in the best interest of your body.  That this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated is a total lie,” he exclaimed.
The reigning NFL MVP also took aim at the left for politicizing the coronavirus pandemic.  “When Trump in 2020 was championing these vaccines that were coming so quick, what did the left say?  And I’m talking about every member of the left.  ‘Don’t trust the vaccine, don’t get the vaccine, you’re gonna die from the vaccine,'” he noted.  “And then what happened?  Biden wins, and everything flips.”
Finally, Rodgers addressed the “woke mob” and said, “To just say that [the vaccines are] a blanket for all that ails you, in my opinion, is wrong and reckless.  And for the media out there taking shots at me, if you don’t know my story, well, now you do.  So quit lying about me, and personal health decisions in my opinion should be private.”  //
“Many scientists, including three doctors who specialize in reproductive health vouched for the safety of vaccinations for couples who want to have a baby….The NFL coronavirus protocols were developed in conjunction with CDC guidelines and independent infectious disease experts,” according to the AP.    https://www.breitbart.com/the-media/2021/11/05/aaron-rodgers-on-vax-status-im-in-the-crosshairs-of-the-woke-mob-right-now/ ……...............................................

October 29, 2021    Alaska and nine other states have filed a lawsuit challenging the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate for federal contractors, Alaska Governor Mike Dunleavy announced today.
Under the mandate a private business would be required to force its employees to be vaccinated for COVID-19 before it could be awarded a federal contract or have an existing contract with the federal government extended or renewed.  President Biden issued the mandate in a Sept. 9 executive order, and contractors have until December to comply.
“President Biden’s attempt to force vaccinations is, at the root of it, unamerican,” said Governor Dunleavy. “These mandates cause division at a time where we need to work together. Forced medical decisions are counterintuitive – destroying America’s sense of fairness and liberty. My administration will continue to fight against these mandates to protect the inherent individual rights of all Alaskans. Medical choice is an individual American freedom.”
Attorney General Treg Taylor joined the lawsuit on behalf of Alaska.  The filing maintains that the contractor rule is ambiguous and inconsistent with other regulations and existing laws. There is confusion about whether businesses with existing federal contracts would be subject to the mandate and how broadly the requirement would be applied across companies.  Most importantly, the lawsuit argues Biden overstepped his legal authority when he issued the order.
“Our laws prohibit this type of action which is overreaching and inconsistently applied,” Taylor said.  “This order improperly tries to use the force of law to punish federal contractors for decisions that should be left to them and their employees. Fortunately federal and state law prohibits these bully tactics.”
The lawsuit states that the vaccine mandate is unconstitutional, arguing, “Defendants, through their vaccine mandate, have exercised power far beyond what was delegated to the federal government by constitutional mandate or congressional action.  Neither Article II of the U.S. Constitution nor any act of Congress authorizes defendants to implement their vaccine mandate.  The power to impose vaccine mandates, to the extent that any such power exists, is a power reserved to the States.”
The lawsuit alleges federal agencies are arbitrarily applying the mandate to their vendors, leaving further questions as to its legality.  The contractor mandate also conflicts with another overreaching executive order affecting private businesses with more than 100 employees.  Under that order employees would be required to either receive the vaccine or undergo regular testing.  There’s not a testing option for contractors.
Meanwhile the Biden administration’s rush to impose rules on contractors left many unanswered questions.  There is uncertainty as to whether the federal government might try to require existing contractors to have its employees vaccinated and whether a vendor’s refusal to implement the mandate might cause it to be “blackballed” from future contracts.
On the scope of the federal contractor vaccine mandate the lawsuit notes that, according to the U.S. Department of Labor, “workers employed by federal contractors” comprise roughly one-fifth of the entire U.S. labor force.  The lawsuit notes “On its face, the contractor vaccine mandate therefore applies to any employee of a contractor or subcontractor who is a party to a federal contract, even if the work they do is wholly unrelated to the contract and even if it is not certain they will ever be working in a location with an employee who is actually working on a federal contract.”
In addition many contractors have said they would be unable to have 100 percent of employees vaccinated by Dec. 8.  That could exacerbate supply-chain problems across the country and further weaken the economy.
States included in the lawsuit are Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wyoming.    https://gov.alaska.gov/newsroom/2021/10/29/alaska-joins-lawsuit-challenging-contractor-vaccine-mandate/
