230. A thousand years suffice to polish a most exquisite myth, and a man of social standing is lauded onto a paper Olympus. And newborn skeptics hang upon the edge of his mantle, persuading their comrades to enthrone new heaven-dwellers. A new tailor re-cuts the mantle and the myth is born. We are not speaking about these phoenixes just for a smile. It is necessary at last to assimilate the manifestation of reality, and any manifestation of ignorance must be realistically uncovered and thrust out of the community.

Politics and religion--which are intended to show forth standards of governing the world and governing the self under divine ordinances--have been misused to promote discord and dissension among the masses, providing a smokescreen for manipulators….Frequently men search the scriptures looking only for a justification of their questionable conduct without understanding that the seat of mercy and understanding dwells also in the soul and that humility is the great expanding magnet of the soul that unerringly draws God’s energy into one’s world, making each one in effect a child of the light….
That adherence to cosmic Law which only waits as a beast of prey ready to pounce upon some statement of the Law that one of us has made which will support their own desires and desire-patterns is not religion pure and undeflied….
So deeply dyed is the consciousness of mankind with many wrong concepts about God and Spirit’s intent that they have failed to apprehend basic laws of the universe so apparent in man and nature….With God all things are possible! And by Him true divine nature will be established within the hearts of all. And thus there will be a natural blending of the flame that is below in man with the fire that is above in God.
