This is not actual peace.  We have not "turned a page."  Don't mistake the U.S. pulling out of Afghanistan as an end of 20 years of military interventions.  U.S. military interventions are still going on right now.  https://reason.com/2021/09/21/in-u-n-speech-biden-says-america-is-not-at-war-for-first-time-in-20-years-thats-just-not-true/

(Leaving some of our personnel, weapons and momentum of hope behind in Afghanistan does not equate to peace.  Biden administration’s claim--US not at war now--is psycho:  arming the terrorist-gov. of Afghanistan destabilizes that region profoundly.  When a nation of liberty must retreat it must be toward a better position of flexible strength, integrity, goodwill and vision.  -r.)

9–23-21  A few days back Glenn Beck penned his thanks to Pakistan PM

Imran Khan:  “No other global leader that we have seen took such initiative to leverage his/her position to save the innocent, putting humanity before politics and showing how much the great faiths have in common on the bridge of compassion.”  (Nearly 100 refugees were released from the Mazar-i-Sharif airport.  Many hundreds remain though.  -r)  https://www1.cbn.com/cbnnews/cwn/2021/september/glenn-beck-partners-directly-with-mid-east-country-to-rescue-afghan-refugees

9-1-21   A State Department official said in a private briefing to reporters that “the majority” of special immigrant visa applicants were left in Afghanistan due in part to the complications of the evacuation, and that he and his team are “haunted” by the evacuees the U.S. could not get out by the Aug. 31 deadline.
