The Bellingcat website, with its Russian investigative partner The Insider, said it had found a list of 305 people who had registered vehicles at a  Moscow building, as had one of the four suspected spies detained in The Hague close to the headquarters of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. The suspected GRU spies were found to have hidden in the boot of a hired car, parked near the OPCW, an array of hi-tech equipment which could be used to hack into its wi-fi system.
Alexey Morenets was the registered user and/or owner of a Lada (VAZ 21093) car, Bellingcat said.  It added that the address to which the car was registered, Komsomolsky Prospekt 20, was the same as a base for military unit 26165, which Dutch and US investigators say is Russian military intelligence GRU’s cyber warfare department.   https://www.standard.co.uk/news/world/identities-of-300-russian-spies-blown-by-links-to-bungling-hacker-s-car-a3954536.html

Intelligence agencies around the world now have a database of Kremlin agents because two of the GRU agents snapped at The Hague last night were travelling under their real passports, names and dates of birth.
They are both understood to live at the GRU's Military Academy in Moscow and one, Alexey Morenets, had registered his Lada to the cyber warfare department down the road, according to investigative site Bellingcat.
Investigators cross-referenced the address to identify another 305 members of the 26165 which is accused of hacking targets across the globe.

In what experts have branded a "shambles", the GRU team was nabbed outside the world's  chemical weapons watchdog while attempting to sabotage the Salisbury Novichok probe.
Morenets, Evgenii Serebriakov, Oleg Sotnikov and Aleksey Minin were tracked by MI6 and Dutch intelligence who embarrassed Moscow by seizing their equipment and releasing mugshots.

The Russian unit's almost unbelievable blunders included:

However, it is peculiar that western counter-intelligence agencies are revealing to Kremlin how their ops are compromised!
