Iran building longrange ballistic missiles in Syria with N. Korea, Russian help

7-12-17   Iran is said to be building new long-range ballistic missiles at a Syrian weapons factory identified by the United States as developing non-conventional weaponry, according to regional reports alleging that Russia and North Korea are aiding in the endeavor.

The Syrian opposition news website Zamanalwsl.net recently published multiple reports and pictures of a weapons factory in Syria that it claims is under direct control of Iran.

11-11-14  Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency reported today that an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander boasted that Syrian missile factories, which help prop up the regime of President Bashar al-Assad, are built by Iran.

Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh said Syria’s missile-production plants have been built by Iran.

“The missile production plants in Syria have been built by Iran and the missiles designed by Iran are being produced there,” Hajizadeh said in an interview on Tuesday.

He also said that even the resistance front in Palestine and Lebanon has received missile-production trainings from Iran.

7-9-17    The Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist group is constructing at least two underground facilities in Lebanon for manufacturing missiles and other weaponry, according to a report by the French Intelligence Online magazine.
While reports of these subterranean weapons facilities have been published in Arab media outlets before, the Intelligence Online article included two previously unknown pieces of information: the type of weaponry being produced and the approximate locations of two factories.
