Very Fake news: the Trump admin. did not “grant exemptions”—most of these 8 countries have long refused to sanction Iran.
11-5-18 WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States has granted exemptions to eight countries allowing them to temporarily continue buying Iranian oil, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Monday, as Washington reimposed sanctions on Iran’s banking, energy and shipping industries.
Some of the eight countries - China, India, Greece, Italy, Taiwan, Japan, Turkey and South Korea - include OPEC member Iran’s top customers. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-iran-sanctions-waivers/u-s-grants-temporary-iran-oil-waivers-to-eight-countries-including-china-pompeo-idUSKCN1NA1OS

5-12-18 In a speech Friday on drug pricing President Trump completed his 180-degree turn on Candidate Trump’s promises. The White House’s new plan, as outlined, does seek to address high prescription-drug costs. “We will not rest until this job of unfair pricing is a total victory,” Trump said. But it doesn’t directly challenge the pharmaceutical industry and the direct role it plays in setting prices. Indeed the new policy largely meets the goals of big pharma, signaling an ever-tightening bond between Trump and drug manufacturers. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2018/05/big-pharma-gets-a-big-win-from-trump/560219/

11-5-18 In the United States, doctors are paid by Big Pharma to peddle experimental drugs made with chemicals in a laboratory that cause side effects that are worse than the conditions and symptoms being “managed.” …In Germany, doctors are employees of the hospital, and patients can hold the entire hospital accountable for mistakes, misdiagnoses, injuries and wrongful deaths. In America, the hospital is just a workshop for independent agents and entrepreneurs (doctors, surgeons, radiologists, nurses, anesthesiologists, etc), and the hospital has no accountability for their work, so there’s basically no internal quality control. The entire place is an “accident waiting to happen.” https://www.naturalnews.com/2018-11-05-usa-has-worst-health-outcomes-of-industrialized-nations.html

11-5-18 Saudi authorities sent a chemist and toxicologist to Istanbul nine days after the gruesome murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi to get rid of his body and hide the evidence, Turkish newspaper Sabah reported Monday.
The report said chemist Ahmed Abdulaziz Aljanobi and toxicologist Khaled Yahya Al Zahrani were a part of the 11-member Saudi team that arrived in Istanbul on Oct. 11, according to "reliable sources." The newspaper alleged that while the Saudi team's declared intent was to investigate the murder, it actually intended to cover-up the deed. https://www.dailysabah.com/investigations/2018/11/05/saudis-sent-chemist-toxicologist-to-clean-up-khashoggi-murder-report

The most important deal for the Kushner family this year is Brookfield’s investment in
666 Fifth Avenue. Jared and Charles Kushner bought the building near the peak of the real estate market in 2007. Loans totaling $1.4 billion on the building are due in February, and the entire property is worth less than $1 billion by some estimates. (Jared Kushner sold his stake in the building to the trust controlled by his mother.) https://www.nytimes.com/2018/07/11/business/jared-kushner-business-washington.html

2-28-18 Kushner Companies received last year an even larger loan from Citigroup, which lent the firm and one of its partners $325 million to help finance a group of office buildings in Brooklyn. That loan was made in the spring of 2017, shortly after Mr. Kushner met in the White House with Citigroup’s chief executive, Michael L. Corbat, according to people briefed on the meeting. The two men talked about financial and trade policy and did not discuss Mr. Kushner’s family business, one person said.
There is little precedent for a top White House official meeting with executives of companies as they contemplate sizable loans to his business, say government ethics experts….
Citigroup, one of the country’s largest banks, is heavily regulated by federal agencies and, like other financial companies, is trying to get the government to relax its oversight of the industry....
Mr. Kushner steers American policy in the Middle East, for example, but his family company continues to do deals with Israeli investors. This blurring of lines is now a potential liability for Mr. Kushner, who recently lost his top-secret security clearance amid worries from some United States officials that foreign governments might try to gain influence with the White House by doing business with Mr. Kushner. https://www.nytimes.com/2018/02/28/business/jared-kushner-apollo-citigroup-loans.html?action=click&module=RelatedCoverage&pgtype=Article®ion=Footer

1-27-18 Moscow (CNN) Russia's best-known opposition leader, Alexei Navalny, has accused the regime of President Vladimir Putin of being "built on corruption" and called on the Kremlin to mend battered relations with the West.
The 41-year-old anti-corruption campaigner said his supporters will take to the streets in more than 100 towns and cities across Russia on Sunday in a rare show of political defiance. Navalny said people blamed the regime for their plight. "The Putin regime is built on corruption," he told CNN. "According to official data, over 20% of our population lives below the poverty line. And people link the obvious. Why are we so poor? Because they steal so much," he said, referring to Russia's ruling elite. https://www.cnn.com/2018/01/27/europe/alexei-navalny-says-putin-regime-is-corrupt-intl/index.html
