-GRU Col. Sergei Skripal, double-agent, betrayed ~300 Russian spies to UK
9-9-2018 THE RUSSIAN military agents who tried to murder Sergei and Yulia Skripal were identified thanks to a recently-turned Russian spy, according to intelligence sources. Codenamed Apollo, he was recruited in a spectacular coup by Britain's Secret Intelligence Service in Rome, weeks after the Novichok nerve-agent attacks in Salisbury….
Sources say he had been groomed for months by an MI-6 agent posing as an art dealer, after expressing a desire to defect over his belief that Russian president Vladimir Putin is determined to foster conflict with the West.
Last night a recently retired MI-6 agent revealed Apollo was brought to Britain in early April and debriefed. He provided Secret Intelligence Service officers with a "wide spectrum of routine and sensitive information" about Moscow's worldwide spy network….Apollo also provided their (Petrov and Boshirov’s) real names and true identities. https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1015016/novichok-salisbury-nerve-agent-poisoning-russia-Alexander-Petrov-and-Ruslan-Boshirov
