What then is fear?; decreeing

-Shasta morning

Those who understand the power of the square in mathematics will realize that when groups of individuals are engaged in invoking the energies of God they are not merely adding power by the number of people in the group on a one-plus-one basis, but they are entering into a very old covenant of the square which squares the release of power to accomplish the spoken Word by the number of individuals who are decreeing and by the number of times that each decree is given.
We heartily recommend individual decrees to accomplish untold blessings in the lives of those who will discipline themselves in this ritual of invoking light to a darkened world.  But group decreeing when accompanied by an intense visualization of the good desired is more efficacious on a world scale than individual decreeing and will result in a speedy response to those engaged in it, not only to themselves but also on behalf of all mankind.
It should be borne in mind that whenever Good is invoked in the world of form, surrounded as the world is today by a great accumulation of mortal effluvia, the Good that is released from on high in answer to the call is automatically opposed by the negative vibrations already existing in the atmosphere of the earth.

Rhythm is also important in decrees.  Proper rhythm creates a most penetrating projection of spiritual vibrations that will magnetize all over the planet the qualities of God that are being invoked through the decrees.  The momentum of these waves that form undulating circles over the planetary body creates an intensification of light wherever devotees come together to participate in a like endeavor.
The laws governing the manifestation and distribution of physical light also apply to the flow of the currents of spiritual light.  Spiritual qualities are distributed around the planetary body from every radiating focus of ascended master love.  Let no one feel then a sense of separation in his service to Hierarchy, for by the power of decrees issued forth at any point upon the earth surface the currents of light, life and love from the heart of God can be unleashed as electrical radiating waves to make their impact in the world and bring back to the invoker the God-ordained response.
The statement “Thou shalt decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee” (Job 22:28) is an ancient maxim that sets forth the law governing decrees.  For man created in the image of God has the selfsame power to actuate which was used by God in the beginning when He said “Let there be light!” and there was light (Gen. 1:3)….

We release this information in this Pearl of Wisdom because of the world need for the ascended masters’ teachings on the subject.  After all, consciousness is one.  The individual who dwells in God can pour out his heart to God in prayer, in song, in decrees or sit silently meditating upon an aspect of Deity.  Thought precedes worded expression, or at least it should.  Therefore to meditate or to think upon God is one way of expressing Him; decreeing is another.  When the children of Israel brought down the walls of Jericho it was by a great shout (Josh. 6:10-20; Heb. 11:3), a great use of the consummate power of divine energy.  The sinister force has perverted this knowledge which has been a part of the forte of the teachings of the Great White Brotherhood for thousands of years….
Because decrees are of such great benefit to mankind we urge that those who in the past may have failed to appreciate fully the significance of decrees, those who may have taken a position against them, shall reconsider their stand in the light of the cosmic knowledge which I have herein released.  Also we recommend that the members of our sanctuaries and all who are connected with us through the Pearls of Wisdom shall make a very real effort to understand the facts concerning the subject of decrees.  Decrees are synthesized manifestations of the heartflame of each one who decrees.  Decrees draw together and focalize the power of the spoken Word, the visualization of the Christ mind and the rhythm of the divine pulse….
The proper use of decrees takes practice.  Individuals should not expect that the first time they make a call the very perfection of the universe will sweep away all of the accumulated debris of their lives…..After all, blessed ones, nature herself is not always silent.  God speaks in thunder, in lightning and in the wind, and the chattering of the many birds through the world like the crickets in the swamp certainly raises the decibels.  By the power of the Word the earth was framed and by the power of the Word the freedom of man shall be dominantly asserted in God’s name.  Use your decrees!  Fear not the opinions of men, for the Hierarchy has spoken and those who heed will profit.

…………………………………………………………………………………………..
Truly it can be said that there are islands of dense substance or psychic pollution located within the consciousness of mankind.  Under certain conditions, always accompanied by an outburst of emotional energy, those islands--conglomerate globs of fear and the compounds of fear--rapidly unite with the mainland of negation in the mass consciousness of the world, at the same time amplifying the momentums of negation within the world of the individual.  This results in a great inrush of tides of unhappiness caused by an intensification of those qualities and conditions which are quite the reverse of the heavenly plan.  Paul expressed the dilemma of these subconscious motivations and momentums when he said, “The good that I would I do not, but the evil which I would not, that I do” (Rom. 7:19).
What then can the modern-day disciple do to protect himself from evil intent and evil action which he finds manifesting in himself and in the world at large?  What practical measures can he take to counteract such tendencies?  How can he insulate himself from the influences of other than benign manifestations both within and without?
“Wit all thy getting get understanding: was the word of a wise son of God.  He was aware of the need to understand the meaning of life within himself as well as without….What then is fear?  First of all fear is vibration--negative vibration--a sense of misapprehension of life and its purposes.  But it is more than that:  it is wrong custom.

Many of mankind’s recurring experiences have been undesirable, therefore in the awareness that so-called evil can befall them men are apprehensive about their future.  They question whether they will attain success and whether they will be able to retain success once it is meted out to them.  The memory of past failures then keeps alive in the present the records of fear.  Understanding the Father’s true plan is ever beneficial in eradicating fear from an individual’s world.  Jesus declared long ago “It is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom” (Luke 12:32).
Now when the devil, personifying the negative temptations of the world, took him up to a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world he said “All these things will I give thee if thou wilt fall down and worship me” (Matt. 4:8).  Jesus replied “Get thee behind me, Satan:  for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve” (Luke 4:8).
In analyzing his reply we find that the Word of God is the bulwark of man’s strength against fear and negation.  Indeed the Word of God—affirmed as divine free and reaffirmed by man in defense of righteousness and truth--overcomes every temptation.
Jesus also knew that each promise of bliss with which the carnal mind might tempt the son of God had already been fulfilled by the Heavenly Father.  Hence he gave the devil a stern rebuke and overcame thereby the planetary momentum of a godless materialism.  The temptation to follow in the ways of the world he put down with the full force of the Logos:  “Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and Him only shalt thou serve!”…

I would point to the fact that the Divine Self is the initiator of the human self, and all experiences that occur in the life of man are intended to polish the diamond in the rough of his identity in order that this blessed diamond might be properly placed in full view of the universe in a proper setting.  Apropos of this Jesus said “Ye are the light of the world.  A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid” (Matt. 5:14)….
This is why beloved Jesus and the great masters are portrayed to mankind’s consciousness as examples worthy to be imitated:  for their example is one of action that implements the Christ-flame in thought, word and deed.  Clearly it is not the Father’s plan to exclude from any man the possibility of going and doing likewise (Luke 10:37).  It is the desire of the Great White Brotherhood to make known that God has employed every spiritual example to inspire man with the great possibilities that are in reality within himself.  To remove fear then is to remove the deep-seated resistance to the flow of light and light’s possibilities in the being of man.  To remove fear is an act of God, for God did not implant fear in man.  Fear was accepted by man through is ignorance of the Law and his unbelief--through a lack of the knowledge of the Law and of how the manipulate the many facets of the Law.  Despair was generated in man in moments when the divine plan was perceived dimly or not at all, for man then assumed that he stood alone in the universe….

Becoming of one accord with the Father, the I AM Presence, is the first step in eradicating fear.  All men and women must recognize that because they have thought wrongly in the past only they can amend their thoughts and think rightly in the present.  They have thought of the individual as being the center of universal Being; this is but partial truth….They must think of themselves as the manifestation of, rather than the originator of, this perfection (I AM).  To consider God as the center and origin of life is not blasphemy, for blasphemy concerns itself with mankind’s despair and the degradation of the creation of God within himself.
