116, 664.  Effort is needed for the directing of fiery energy, which for abbreviation we shall call agni.  This exertion is actually not a physical one and not even one of a subtle order.  In the East people understand this lightning-speed quality.  In Western speech there does not exist at all a designation for this most subtle concept.... 
Nor is it far from the truth to state that the vortices of darkness contain a destructive gas, which is not only deadly to the crust of the planet but can alter the climate and even significantly effect a shifting of the poles. Thus powerful is the significance of the human spirit.  Hence we treasure the ashrams where purified agni is gathered.  Many teachings have pointed out the importance of pure places where finer energy can be affirmed.  References to the importance of pure places are found in the sacred writings, in the Bible, and in the Rig-Veda; the Tao likewise contains knowledge of these treasure-places of Earth.  We rejoice when we notice the rise of new ashrams, for people so seldom think of the power of their spirits!

2-13-17    Donald Trump is proving himself a President prone to unleashing inconvenient truths side by side with blatant falsehoods.  One of the most scurrilous of those falsehoods is his recent claim that Iran is the “number one terrorist state.”...

Indeed the funding of mosques and Islamic centers by the Saudis across the world, places in which this extreme and perverse interpretation of Islam is preached, has become a source of mounting concern in recent years.

In 2015 the UK’s Independent newspaper carried a story claiming a leaked intelligence report compiled by Germany’s BfVdomestic intelligence agency alleged the Saudis and other Gulf monarchies – the Qataris and Kuwaitis – were actively supporting extreme Islamic groups in Germany.
