The egg of the serpent must not be left

The egg of the serpent must not be left, for it might well bring forth not only a serpent or a sea serpent but also a dragon.  And thus the cone of fire must be preserved until the blinding light of transposition, of transmutation does consume the dross and produce the fruit of the cosmic egg....the span that leaps across the centuries--it is like a spiral of wire:  the energy does not necessarily travel around the wire circle by circle, but through magnetism and induction it suddenly animates the whole by the principle of the divine Soul.      -Serapis Bey:  Pearls of Wisdom of 7-3-1967
