Loving and worshiping in the bonds of peace you shall increase your skill and care without tension. You build then not for name and fame but to externalize God. What a pity it would be if all men used different yardsticks, yet this is exactly what they do when it comes to the things of the Spirit. Each one sets his own standard of divine or human values, especially of those which are difficult to measure by human means….And men ought not to pervert those values which have been clearly stated and luminous for ages….
The root of human bitterness is man’s worst enemy, choking out the fruit of human possibilities while destroying the lives of multitudes by its viciousness. I therefore advocate a willing relinquishment of those self-satisfying actions that are hurtful to others as well as to the self. I recommend instead the cultivation of the consciousness as though it were a great open temple beholding in the dome of heavenly manifestation its wondrous opportunity for expansion that is so beautifully governed by cosmic Law. To obtain victory over oneself and then to offer oneself as a conquered one ready for the imprint of the light unto eternal purpose—this is what truly makes life worth living….
Let those who can hear and understand the beauty of simplicity, of mutual trust, of consecration, of mystery revealed share in the joy that you are and the joy that I AM. For the standards of the Christ must be the measure of the Christ and the measure of a man or a woman as to what Christhood each one can contain. Do not therefore set for your Holy Christ Self, for your Messenger or for this entire mystery school your human standards of what ought to be and what ought not to be. And these tests must be passed at the level of Christhood, not at the level of the human consciousness of compromise that says “This is our stand, this is our human standard and it is right, and we will have our own code of honor among ourselves.” And yet it is a tarnished honor, beloved ones.
God has a right to test you, to love you, to chasten you, to teach you, to draw back the curtain of pride and allow you to see what is puffed up by your ego or what is trumped up by the flattery of other egos. The betrayal of the light of the Son of God by the not-Self of each one of us is a link to this planetary force of anti-Buddha. It can be seen in the electronic belt---at the seat-of-the-soul chakra level) manifesting as a black sun-center, a literal vortex of darkness swallowing up the soul’s light as it spins in a counter-motion to the rotation of the great causal body. Unless bound and cast out by the fiat of Almighty God Himself this dweller will not stop agitating for the enslavement of the soul.
