Some of this battlefield mentality is going to keep spilling over into related areas of life in America, whether the areas be industry, education or just about anything else. How much battlefield mentality is suitable in life? That is mostly an individual decision, but at times some groups make decisions for their group &/or for other groups directly from the very context of battlefield mentality. The permutations and combinations of such battlefield-mentality decision-making are essentially infinite in number and diversity but very likely tend to pool in a kind of "birds of a feather flock together"--a certain amount of mutual reinforcement on the part of those of that very tendency or mindset.
Decision-making activity is a central activity of life itself and must somehow be governed by life itself. The battlefield-mentality is one possible context in which decision-making takes place. Calmness and straightforwardness with life itself is another possible context in which decision-making takes place.
Evolution has its checkpoints. To evolve higher very likely involves reduction of or elimination of bias, overemphasis on winning, falsities, poor approaches such as heavy reliance upon coercion and feeding locked-in mentalities. Can life actually etherealize? Only if someone wants it to. -R
283. Even upon an ordinary battlefield one should not cut oneself off from communications. Thus by the simplest examples one must cognize the Great. -Morya: Heart 1932

And let the fire of the heart know that the shedding of blood for the remission of sins, whether on the cross or the battlefield of life, is the requirement for the defense of freedom. -Jesus Christ: 3-30-1986 at Camelot, Los Angeles
