President Joe Biden on Thursday took aim at vaccine resistance in America, announcing policies requiring most federal employees to get COVID-19 vaccines and pushing large employers to have their workers vaccinated or tested weekly. The new measures, which Biden laid out in remarks from the White House, would apply to about two-thirds of all U.S. employees, those who work for businesses with more than 100 workers.
“This is not about freedom or personal choice,” Biden said during a speech from the White House. It’s about protecting yourself and those around you. Many of us are frustrated with the 80 million Americans who are not vaccinated. We’re going to protect vaccinated workers from unvaccinated co-workers. We've been patient," Biden told the millions of Americans who have declined to get coronavirus shots. “What more is there to wait for, what more is there to see?” Biden asked, noting the vaccine received FDA approval.Biden said….The president’s announcement is a sharp turnaround from his position last December, when he told reporters he did not support a widespread national vaccine mandate. “I don’t think it should be mandatory, I wouldn’t demand it be mandatory,” he told reporters at the time.
(But the truth is that Pfizer has a terrible rap sheet, that its vaccine hardly functions for health and is likely to prove more detrimental than beneficial, that mandating an experimental drug is highly unethical, that Pfizer and Moderna have legal immunity from vaccine damage prosecution is highly unethical, that the President does not write the laws of the land but only executes them.
