According to a report by Agence France-Presse (AFP), Italian police announced on September 2 that, they had raided a local company specializing in manufacturing military drones. Police were suspecting three Italians and three Chinese nationals of violating the Italian laws on “the circulation of arms” and “protection of strategic Italian assets.”An investigation by local prosecutors in Pordenone, northeast Italy, revealed that a Hong Kong-based company acquired up to 75% shares of the Italian weapon manufacture firm at an inflated and suspicious price in 2018. In fact behind the Hong Kong-based offshore company and the complex financial arrangements were two important state-owned enterprises in Communist China.
Investigators believed that the Italian company needed to secure an approval from the Italian Defense Ministry before signing the acquisition contract. Further, investigators claimed that the acquisition was to seize Italian technology and transfer the military drone production facilities to an artificial intelligence manufacturing center in Wuxi, China.
In recent years it has gradually come to light that Chinese Communist Party attempts to acquire foreign companies by using cover-up identities to bypass supervisions. Thus countries have increased their vigilance over Chinese state-owned companies’ acquisitions in sensitive industries. The Italian government applied its “golden power” in April to veto the acquisition of LPE, a Milan-headquartered semiconductor equipment company, by the Chinese state-owned Chuangjiang Investment Holdings Co in Shenzhen. https://gnews.org/1518066/ see: https://dronedj.com/2021/09/06/italian-defense-drone-company-investigated-in-alleged-illicit-buyout-by-china/ https://www.defensenews.com/unmanned/2021/09/03/italian-police-raid-drone-maker-over-alleged-chinese-takeover/#:~:text=ROME%20%E2%80%94%20An%20Italy%2Dbased%20defense,official%20named%20as%20Alpi%20Aviation

4-17-20 The National Institutes of Health has authorized two animal testing labs at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which researches human infectious diseases just a few miles from the local market, to receive tax dollars for animal experiments. Some of this research included coronavirus studies involving bats….The agency has authorized another 22 taxpayer-funded animal experiments at other laboratories in China. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/taxpayer-funded-animal-experiments-tied-to-chinese-wet-markets-and-wuhan-laboratory

Dr Antoine Danchin (adanchin@pasteur.fr), a geneticist at the Institut Cochin in Paris, said it could not be ruled out that the new coronavirus had leaked from the Wuhan lab, but the virus was likely a mosaic without a single origin.
Research by Danchin and his colleagues into the Sars coronavirus that spread from southern China in 2002-2003 found evidence that recombination events had led to its emergence, with several animal species affected.
“I think that the same is true today,” he said. “I suspect that, especially because we do not have a clear ‘patient zero’, that there is not one origin of the virus but a continuum. This by no means precludes that a virus could have escaped from a laboratory but this does not help in understanding what happened.” (SOUTH CHINA MORNING POST 4-21-20) https://www.todayonline.com/world/coronavirus-wuhan-lab-conspiracy-theory-will-not-go-away

Former US Ambassador to Pakistan, Robert Oakley, and Hamid Karzai were also working for Unocal in those days. Naseerullah Babar told me that Unocal provided money to the Taliban in 1995 for setting up a communication system between Kandahar and Quetta. Unocal (Kissinger was a consultant for Unocal) wanted the Taliban to protect a gas pipeline from Turkmenistan to Pakistan via Afghanistan.
Many people say that the Taliban of today are different from the Taliban of 2001. I think they are still loyal to their old ideology, but they have learned some new tactics in the last two decades. Their command-and-control system actually revolves around their ideology. It is important to know that the political office of the Taliban working in Qatar for many years was not an independent decision-making authority….It was Pakistan that arrested close aides of Mullah Omar like Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, Mullah Abdul Razaq Akhund and Ustad Yasir. Akhund and Yasir died in 2010 in Pakistani custody. Mullah Baradar was released in 2018. I think Baradar will try his level best to prove that the Taliban are not a proxy of Islamabad….
According to a recent UN report, Al Qaeda fighters are present in 15 provinces of Afghanistan. There are not only Afghans and Arabs but a lot of Pakistanis, Indians, Bangladeshis and Burmese present in Al Qaeda ranks.
