conventional vs. unconventional

Christian Science movement was often considered or labelled unconventional, City Foursquare activity was "unconventional", New Thought movement around 1900 and Theosophy and Agni Yoga were by many conceived to be “unconventional”, Masonic and Rosicrucian and using terms like reincarnation and karma were usually considered to be unconventional in the West, palmistry and using I Ching and going organic were usually considered unconventional and often therefore shunned.  Thus Edgar Cayce the seer/prophet, decrees, mantra or Saint Francis’ poverty, chastity and obedience were often considered fringe or marginal; in fact science itself is still having to prove its worth too to the conventionally-minded.
Then begins to enter in the most nonconventional of the 12 astronomic/astrologic Ages (all running about 2160 years each, keyed to precession of the spring equinox):  the early rays of Aquarius Age and its double-ruler—conventional but testing Saturn and unconventional/highly experimental Uranus.  Suddenly the stakes have gone up since the 1960s with new winds of potentiality as conventional patterns/ideas and unconventional patterns/ideas joust on the stage of life, increasingly as years unfold.

For instance, this chart depicts the fixed cross dynamic of Sun opposite Uranus crossed by Saturn and Mars.  There was simultaneously a full eclipse of the Sun at that time, seen in Asia and Middle East.

In this drama the nearly mid-Leo Sun has greatest responsibility to reconcile the very strong "jousting players," especially at overhead, setting, nadir and rising.  Necessarily!   -R., Mt. Shasta
