Alot of this nanoparticle tech seems to me to have sprung from pesticide technologies which go back to nerve gases. i think the nerve gases have always crossed the blood-brain barrier, or else by WWII the German scientists found those that do, then thru covert Operation Paperclip the CIA/OSS/Allen Dulles with help from his young aide H. Kissinger brought them to US, and so we got agent orange and the whole nano game.
