    The real enemy of mankind isn’t so much some “rogue country” or “rogue group” but ignorance and its allies—the so-called five poisons identified by Gautama Buddha 2550 years ago.  

Kissinger and Mao secretly at Beijing in 1971-72 began a longterm scheme to isolate the Soviet Union; this has had longterm repercussions, and of course the Russians got wise to that deal.  So I think Putin and Kim Jong-Un pulled one back covertly.  But the real issue is—will humanity awaken from the whole pattern of manipulation of truth and ourselves, at our own expense, see that we have these proclivities, and decide to change our ways fundamentally?
